Pet care experience

Calm structure. Focused care

My home offers a private, low-volume stay designed for dogs who thrive with calm energy, consistency, and one-on-one attention. I intentionally keep my bookings extremely limited, typically no more than 2 to 3 dogs at a time, so each dog receives focused care, supervision, and a truly personalized experience. This is a quiet, structured environment where dogs are part of my daily routine, not rotated through large group play or overstimulating settings. Every stay is designed to feel stable, safe, and relaxed. For dogs who enjoy social interaction, I carefully incorporate supervised play and enrichment opportunities when appropriate and with owner approval. Social time is always based on each dog’s temperament, energy level, comfort, and overall fit. I intentionally keep my care balanced and structured, ensuring dogs who benefit from interaction have positive experiences while maintaining the peaceful environment I’m known for. Dogs here benefit from: • Consistent supervision and presence • Calm, structured daily routines • One-on-one attention and interaction • Low-stress, balanced social dynamics • A peaceful environment without overstimulation Your dog is never left unattended for long periods and is never placed in chaotic or crowded situations. This is a more intentional, hands-on level of care for owners who want peace of mind knowing their dog is truly being looked after. The property includes open space, shaded areas, and quiet walking paths. Outdoor time is always supervised and tailored to each dog’s comfort level, energy level, and recall reliability. This setting is an excellent fit for: • Dogs who prefer a calm environment • Senior dogs or lower-energy breeds • Dogs who benefit from structure and routine • Anxious or sensitive dogs • Owners looking for a more private, personalized stay I do accept well-mannered and social dogs, as long as they align with the calm, balanced environment here. Each stay is thoughtfully matched to maintain a safe and positive experience for everyone. If your dog would benefit from a more active, high-energy environment, I can also help guide you toward the best fit to ensure they have the experience they need.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I want to share my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. Rebecca was friendly and sent daily photos, which I appreciated. However, my experience did not align with the level of individualized care described in her listing. Her profile indicated that she limits the number of dogs she accepts to 2-3 to provide focused care and supervision. This is one of the reasons I chose Rebecca. During my dog's stay, the photos Rebecca sent showed five dogs, including my dog. She also mentioned that she had two Beagles staying with her, which would mean there may have been as many as seven dogs in her care. This was significantly more dogs than I expected based on her advertised profile. When I picked up my dog, I noticed redness, brown tear staining, and discharge from one eye. The staining was difficult to remove, suggesting it had likely been there for some time. My dog did not have any eye issues when I dropped her off; she had just been bathed and was in good condition before her stay. When I asked Rebecca when she first noticed the eye issue, she said, "I didn't see any discharge while she was in my care, sorry." I can't say what caused the issue, but my dog returned home with an eye condition that may require veterinary care if it does not clear up. While Rebecca sent daily photos she didn't provide updates on how my dog was doing throughout the booking. I noticed left over food in her bag and would have appreciated an update if she wasn't eating. Rebecca was kind and reassuring, but these concerns left me uncomfortable and, based on my experience, I would not book again,

Absolutely fantastic! Rebecca took great care of of my pup while I was away. I have already recommended her to all my close friends. She sent pictures daily and answered any questions that I had during the week I was away.

Rebecca was available last minute to keep my dog Chas. That was awesome for my family to take a last minute weekend getaway to the poconos. I would definitely use her again in the future!

Rebecca was amazing! We booked her last minute for our two girls, Piper and Willow, and she was so kind and responsive throughout the entire stay. She sent us pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were out of town. Piper and Willow looked like they had a great time, and it felt wonderful knowing they were safe and well cared for. We would absolutely book with Rebecca again!

Schedule

Caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day. I’m home full time, so everything I do revolves around feeding schedules, outdoor playtime, training, cleaning, and making sure everyone’s comfortable. My mornings start with letting the dogs out to stretch and play while I prep meals and check water buckets. Throughout the day, I rotate them between play areas, nap spots, and one-on-one time inside. there’s room for everyone to get fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of space to explore safely. I treat visiting dogs exactly like my own with the same attention, structure, and love. Nights are calm with everyone settled in for dinner, cuddles, and quiet time before bed. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in; it is my lifestyle.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay with me, they get the best of both worlds! I have a safe indoor area where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable, plus a secure outdoor space where they can get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy supervised playtime. I keep both areas clean and cozy, and I always make sure pets are monitored while outside. Whether it’s sunshine and fetch or chill time indoors, I tailor their routine to what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

A typical day

Every day here starts with tails wagging and coffee brewing. The pups stretch their legs first thing in the morning and head out for a big, supervised romp on the property—fresh air, sunshine, and room to explore safely. Breakfast follows, with personalized meals and plenty of belly rubs before we settle into our daily routine. Mid-day usually means playtime rotations, enrichment toys, or just lounging on the porch while I handle ranch chores and toss treats between cuddles. If the weather’s nice, we’ll spend time outside under the shade or splash around in the kiddie pool. Inside, it’s all about comfort—climate-controlled rooms, soft beds, music playing, and a calm, clean environment. Evenings are slow and cozy. Everyone gets dinner, a little one-on-one time, and then we wind down together before lights out. Whether your dog loves adventure or prefers naps and neck scratches, I make sure they feel loved, secure, and part of the family every single day.

I like to know everything that helps me make your dog’s stay smooth and comfortable. Tell me about their daily routine, feeding schedule, quirks, favorite toys, and anything that might make them nervous or anxious. If they have allergies, medications, or any special needs, I want to know that too. Let me know how they do around other dogs, whether they’re crate trained, and how they handle being in a new environment. Every dog adjusts differently, and the more I know upfront, the better I can make them feel at home from the minute they arrive. Think of it like this, if it matters to you, it matters to me because when you leave your dog with me, you’re not dropping them off with a stranger you’re trusting someone who’s built her entire lifestyle around animals. I know the little details that make a huge difference: when they’re nervous, when they’re tired, when they just need a cuddle or a quiet corner. This isn’t a side hustle or a quick gig. Caring for dogs is what I do every single day, and I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and loving space where every dog feels secure and cared for. Whether your pup needs confidence, consistency, or just a little extra love, they’ll get it here. You can travel or work without worrying, knowing your dog is being looked after the way you would do it with patience, heart, and real experience.
