I am home all the time and I work from home. It’s a very flexible role and I have lots of time to spend with the animals and they are ALWAYS with me! I’m sometimes crafting and uploading to sell online too but the animals are always with me and I involve them in my wee photo shoots - all my time is devoted to looking after my animal friends. They’re my absolute world 🌍 and my top priority.

I have an enclosed and fenced back garden that is perfect for dogs to bound around and to have potty breaks and Maple & Co are always around to keep your furry friend company too. If your pooch is crate trained and you’d like me to continue this here - that’s no problem at all and I’m happy to stick to whatever your dog is used to. If your dog has any medications, creams or tablets to take 💉💊 - I’m perfectly happy to administer these too. If a dog does require extra care that’s out of the realms of normal remit, there may be an extra charge for this but I will always chat about this first with you. I want to keep the doggos as happy and healthy as they can be while they stay with me. Please let me know any requirements you have around feeding 🦴 and dietary considerations and anything else that you think I might need to know to ensure your furry family member has the best time with me that they possibly can!

Please do let me know if your pooch has any special requirements or arrangements that need to be accounted for. I am happy to administer all types of medications and cater for dietary requirements that they might have. If they have a special night time routine or if they have something that comforts them, do let me know so I can make sure I give them the best care that I can. I have experience with breeds big and small and dogs of all ages, just let me know and I’ll make sure they’re loved and looked after just as well as they would be at home. I want this to be your dogs home away from home and for them to come back to you with wagging tails and to be happy to come again! 🤗
A typical day
My day is filled with caring for your pooch along with my own best bud Maple. We will have fun playing with the vast amount of toys that I have to offer here - or if your canine friend has some favourite toys of their own, bring them along and we will get some play time in. For the warmer months, I have doggy splash and sprinkler mats to keep them cool, water stations all over, cooling mats and shaded areas outside and fans all over inside to keep them nice and cool. I also make healthy, dog friendly ice lollies too! These go down an absolute treat (I’ve heard they’re something to howl about 🤣) with all of the dogs. I make all different ones, so there’s bound to be one that your pup will like! I do love teaching and training dogs! I’d say I’m no dog training expert but I do love spending time teaching new and fun little tricks to furry friends. I’ve managed to get my boy Maple (Dachshunds are a notoriously stubborn breed) to learn how to give paw with both legs, sit, stay, lay down, spin, play dead and sit up on his hind legs and bum and also say please. I make the experience fun for them and now you’ll often see Maple doing a wee spin if he thinks he might get a treat haha. If you’d like me to spend some time with your pooch trying to train some of these, I’m happy to! We will also play fetch and ball if your dog enjoys this and your pooch pal can spend time getting some interaction in with Maple. We will also explore the fun sights and smells of the surrounding fields and woody walks here, where your doggo can get in some much needed exercise and interact with some new and exciting surroundings. There are all sorts of animals on some of the routes too like cows, sheep, llamas and even donkeys. If your dog doesn’t like this though or you’re worried about them around other animals, rest assured there are plenty of other routes that avoid them but honestly, it’s such a joy to see them meet the other animals. If they haven’t experienced this before, I’m happy to take them to give it a try and can let you know all about how they got on and send you lots of pictures and pupdates. All the dogs I’ve taken through the fields of different animals have thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s great for building on their confidence and approachability. I can also give your pooch a bath if you select that option and/or can give them a nice brush and groom. I can even trim claws - I do Maples black talons and both of the nudey cats and I trim friends and family’s animals too! Just let me know and for a small fee I can add this to your package at whatever frequency your pooch pal needs or as a one off! My home is open and filled with fun and also places for your dog to go and relax if they feel anxious or overstimulated. Your dog will come home thoroughly exhausted in the best possible way!

Hi everyone! My names Becca and I have a 4 year old Miniature Dachshund called Maple Dog 🍁🐶 who is my absolute world and my best friend. I love animals and share my home with Maple and my two sphynx cats - Merlin 🐈 and Mochi 🐈⬛. I’m home with them all day everyday and they get all the love and fuss. I don’t leave my home unless it’s to go to an appointment or take the doggo friends out, so rest assured - your furry friend will have around the clock love, cuddles and all the play time 🎾 and care that they could ever want. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have been looking after friends and family’s dogs and other pets (I regularly take care of a tortoise that is over 100 years old, rabbits and all manners of animals 🤣) since I was 18! I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs big, small and everything between but I in particular have a LOT of experience with dachshunds and small breeds. I regularly take care of a Great Dane pup too, so no doggo is too big or small for me to look after while you’re away! I have an enclosed back garden 🏡 with a decent patio area for your dogs to run around and play and to go out to potty whenever they need to. The area I live in is beautiful and close by to fields 🌾, so plenty of places to get out and get some exercise on or off lead, whatever you are comfortable with! My animals are part of the family, so I do allow them on furniture 🛋️ and beds 🛏️ unless you have given me instruction that you don’t allow that. I’m happy to adhere to whatever rules that you have at home to make sure your pup has their routine carried on. I know how important it is to stick to these things and how much doggos need that structure and routine. I know how easily all that carefully constructed training can be broken if it’s not adhered to. But I do offer a very relaxed home and can adapt to whatever your best friend needs - rules or relaxation, let me know and I’ll implement it for you here too. I know that all dogs are different - some like their own space and quiet 🤫 , others require a more hands on and interactive experience but rest assured, whatever your buddy needs, I will make sure that I provide. I obviously do have animals of my own that are very happy around others and I look after other dogs too, so I do ask that your pooch be happy being around other animals. Not just for my animals sake but for yours too, I would hate for them to feel distressed! But if your doggo is happy with others, then they’ll have a blast with some pawesome new friends! I know that it can sometimes be daunting leaving your best friend with someone new - so please don’t be afraid to contact me about anything that you’d like! I look forward to meeting you and all your fluffy best friends! 🐶✨🐶 ***Please note*** - 1) I do only accept dogs that are toilet trained in my home (sorry you lovely lot) ♥️ Please be truthful and honest if your pup does still have issues with toileting - my home is mine and my little families sanctuary and my own dog doesn’t mess in the house. It’s a hard line for me if a dog isn’t toilet trained, as I’ve lost hundreds of pounds at this point in cleanings fees, it’s why I don’t board puppies (even though they’re bloomin adorable). Please, if I do board your doggo and you’ve stated they are house trained and then they excessively mess in the house during their stay, there will be a small cleaning fee added onto your final bill (this would be dependant on the amount I’ve spent during the stay and will have to spend afterwards to completely neutralise my home). I hate to have to do this, but I’ve had too many incidents of dogs coming to stay that I’ve been told are house trained (and then on collection be told “yes they do still have accidents often in the house” 🫠), that have made excessive soiling. It obviously then has cost quite a bit to get this properly cleaned to stop other dogs doing the same in the future and to stop my home from smelling. I don’t charge very much for my services, I think I’m very fair and when I have to pay out such high amounts to clean excessive soiling, I make nothing at all - sometimes I even lose money on a booking. 💔 I understand the odd accident, this is absolutely to be expected and I absolutely, 100% would NOT charge for this, so don’t be worried your pup might have an excited wee or not know where the garden is yet, I’m only referring to EXCESSIVE and continued soiling. Thank you so much for your understanding in this matter ♥️ 2) I do also charge a fee for last minute bookings if I’ve never looked after your dog before and there’s no time for a meet & greet (I would class any booking starting within the next 48 hours as last minute). Please understand, although you know your dog/s and know they are okay with other dogs/cats, are house trained etc, I do not and it’s a risk to myself, my animals and my home when I take a last minute booking without a meet & greet. We were confident after meeting Becca, Maple and the cats that our dog Morrissey would be really well looked after and made to feel at home, and this was certainly the case! We received messages, photos and videos with updates about how he was getting on which was very reassuring, and he settled in far quicker than we expected him to. He is already booked in for his next 'holiday' and we know he will be welcomed back into the gang and have a great time!
Becca did an amazing job of looking after Basil while I went on holiday. He bonded with Becca and has enjoyed a bromance with her lovely dog Maple. He's actually come home a better behaved dog! Becca looked after Basil like her own, kept me updated and I felt I could relax while I was away. Will be using Becca's services again, thank you!
