Hello! My name is Rebecca and I have been an avid animal lover and pet owner my whole life. I have 16 years of pet-sitting experience and joined Rover 3 years ago. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters and two wonderful dogs (a black lab named Fiona and a border collie named Bo, who do great with making new friends). Our dogs truly are an extension of our family and bring us great joy! We have a 2-acre, fully fenced-in yard just 7 minutes from the Kroger in downtown Versailles (~3.5 miles). Our fencing consists of both oak-planks and welded wire overlay, which reaches down to the ground level, so it safely contains little dogs as well. I provide daily pictures and status updates to every owner while you are away from your pet, so you feel connected to their stay and quality of care!

Schedule
I am home full time, which means I can give our guests plenty of attention and outside play time, which is fully supervised. ** While I am home the majority of each day, DOGS MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH OCCASIONAL USE OF A CRATE, as I do not like to leave new guests unsupervised in our home. If your dog has any separation anxiety issues or barking behaviors when placed in a crate then our home is not the best fit for them **

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your pet is certainly a top priority - all visitors are led on a leash when accessing our backyard gate. I also do request either a paper or digital copy of your pet's current vaccination records, to ensure everything is up to date, and that all our visitors arrive healthy. We also have a sophisticated security system for our home that includes cameras and multiple alarms/monitors, so your pet will be as safe as we are. Pets
A typical day
With our large 2-acre fenced in yard, there are lots of fun areas for your dog to explore or play fetch in. Part of our property is wooded, and there is plenty of shade for warmer days or hills to race our own dogs up and down on. Your pet will get lots of snuggles and will become part of our pack while they stay! Outside play/potty breaks are every 0-2 hours. ** I also offer dog bathing and brushing prior to your pet going home, as an add-on service to their stay. Rates are based on the size of the dog ($25.00-$30.00).
