Ciao! I am English, but live in Milan, Italy. I do not speak Italian yet, but I'm learning. I moved to Milan at the beginning of November with my husband (Sam) who works here. I mainly have experience caring for cats, my family have always had cats, but I also love dogs and have also cared for them in the past. Sam's family have always had dogs and I lived with his family throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns in the UK for about half a year in 2020 and also lived with them for half of 2022 while preparing our move here. So I have a bit of experience walking their small dog but also a medium dog they looked after for some other family members when they went on holidays. I started pet sitting generally cats when I moved away to university in 2017 but I did do one official pet sit for a dog and cat during that time. It was a very elderly medium-sized dog who was too old for walks but required medicine tablets I had to administer so I have some experience with that. I'd also be happy to look after smaller animals as well whilst there if you have any that need looking after but let me know what animal. My family have had fish (I can feed but never cleaned a tank) and rabbits (feeding and cleaning) in the past. My husband's family have guinea pigs which I've looked after a little bit.

All of my furry customers back in England stayed in their own home and I came to look after them there. Some were just drop-ins for feeds and litter changes, but most I stayed for at least a few days to a week, and once almost a month over Christmas and New Year. The more recent stays Sam stayed with me too. He provided an extra lap for cat cuddles and he can provide extra cuddles and playtime for dogs, and it meant we got to stay together. We're incredibly trustworthy and your home will be left exactly as you left it.
Ratings and reviews
Rebecca has lived with cats all her life. She's always been respectful of them and cared for their needs and wants. When old enough - she would look after and feed the cats whenever we were away and she always accompanied me to the vets whenever needed - for illness and general checkups and boosters - She's also helped at home to administer medication (pills) when required. She has gone on to take on pet-sitting roles for others outside of our home over the last few years and so has had experience looking after pets that are not so familiar with her - and has always had great results becoming close with the pets.

Schedule
I'm not currently working since we've only just moved here and I can't speak the language so I'm free all the time to care for your furry friends. This means for drop-ins I can drop in anytime during the day for feeds whenever your pet will expect them, and for house-sitting I can be in for cuddles as much as they want. It also means I'm free any day of the week. Sam works weekdays normal office hours but his company is flexible and working in the office is optional so if needed he can be around but weekdays daytime will usually just be me.

- Please let me know if your pets require any special treatment or have any behaviours you think I should know about so that we can discuss to make sure I'm the right sitter for them, and that I can be as best prepared as possible to be the best sitter for them. Usually I find a meeting beforehand is good so I/we can see the environment so we know where everything is and to discuss any of the usual things like feeding times and clean-up.
