Pet care experience

I treat furbabies like royalty 🩷👑

Hi! I’m Becca ☺️ I am a lifelong animal lover and have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients for years. My husband and I have an 11 year old Bichon Frise named Sophie who is truly part of our family and honestly one of the most spoiled little dogs on earth 😂 We have loved and cared for her since college and she is thriving, happy, and so very loved. I also grew up around animals my entire life including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and more, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and is something I genuinely enjoy with my whole heart. We also now have a sweet one year old son who absolutely adores animals and has learned how to be very gentle with Sophie. Motherhood has been such a beautiful season of life for me, and now that things are getting a little easier and more settled, I’m excited to begin pet sitting again because taking care of others, both people and animals, truly fills my cup. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home, so someone is almost always home to love on your pet, let them out for potty breaks, cuddle them, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I keep a very clean, peaceful, smoke free home and we live in a quiet safe neighborhood with sidewalks perfect for walks. I am also comfortable administering medication if needed, as Sophie takes allergy medication herself. Because we do have a small child, I am very intentional and selective about the dogs we accept into our home, and temperament and behavior are extremely important to us so that everyone stays safe, happy, and comfortable. I truly see animals as precious gifts from God with their own little personalities, emotions, and needs, and I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your baby. I will treat your pet with so much love, care, gentleness, and attention while they are with us, and I also love sending lots of updates and pictures so you can feel at ease and know exactly how they’re doing. I would be honored to care for your sweet furbaby like one of our own.💕

Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I am a stay-at-home mom, and already caring for my son and our sweet 11 year old Bichon Frise throughout the day. My husband also works from home with a flexible schedule, so between the two of us, someone is almost always home for potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and cared for. We love evening walks around our quiet neighborhood, and since our days are already centered around being home and caring for both of our babies, adding another furry friend into the mix feels easy and natural for our family. Your dog will be treated with lots of love, attention, and care while they’re with us. 🩷

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my absolute top priority while caring for pets in our home. We live in a very quiet, safe neighborhood, and dogs are always kept leashed on walks and closely supervised outside. My husband keeps our yard freshly mowed and well-maintained, and I keep a very clean, calm environment indoors as well. We have an 11 year old Bichon Frise named Sophie who is truly the sweetest dog ever and incredibly gentle with other animals. Because we also have a one year old son in the home, I’m extremely intentional about supervision and boundaries at all times. My son is very gentle and loves animals, but he is never around dogs without very close supervision. I have playpens, baby gates, and separate spaces throughout the home so I can safely attend to both children and pets without distractions, and I also have a kennel for Sophie if separation is ever needed. I only accept one client dog at a time and am very mindful about temperament so everyone stays safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day in our home includes lots of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles! Your pup will get plenty of supervised time outside in our fenced yard to run around, sniff, play fetch, and get some energy out throughout the day. During my son’s nap times or in the evenings, we love taking walks around our quiet neighborhood on the sidewalks. We also have a big basket of toys and make sure your dog gets plenty of one-on-one attention, affection, and playtime. I love just loving on each animal I care for and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and at home while they’re here. Expect lots of pets, snuggles, cozy time indoors, and a calm, family-oriented environment, where your fur baby will be genuinely cared for like one of our own.

Please let me know ahead of time about your dog’s temperament, personality, routine, energy level, diet, medications, anxieties, or any behaviors I should be aware of so I can make sure they are comfortable and well cared for while they’re with us. I’m happy to accommodate simple special needs like daily medication, allergies, special feeding instructions, extra potty breaks, or dogs that just need a little extra reassurance and love. Because we have a small child and our own sweet Bichon Frise in the home, safety is my absolute top priority. I only accept one client at a time and prefer calm, friendly, well-mannered dogs that are house trained, crate trained, and comfortable around people and other animals. I do not accept dogs or cats with any history of aggression, biting, reactivity, or unsafe behavior. I’m also very mindful about breeds and temperaments that may not be the best fit for our home environment. In this season of life, I know my limits and want to make sure every creature in my care is set up for a safe, peaceful, loving experience. I’m best suited for sweet natured dogs that can comfortably settle into a calm family routine without needing extremely high levels of specialized care or constant intensive management.
