I'm currently in school part-time and working part-time. But I'm sure with coordination we can find a schedule fit without issue. It is additionally helpful if there's a window I can come rather than an exact set time BUT I can make it work regardless, let's chat!

Safety, trust & environment

I have 2 indoor cats who have dealt with pancreatitis and a few other minor health scares in their 10 years. I had cats growing up, one of whom needed diabetes shots towards the later half of his life. I'm comfortable giving medicine and have learned multiple ways to ensure the cat intakes the meds it needs, while being gentle & reassuring. Animals are emotional creatures and if you know how to communicate in their body language and respect their boundaries/sensitivities, you can build trust & a safe environment with ease

Information Rebecca H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know your cat's inclination towards people, and anything I need to be on the lookout for, like vomit or cabinet break-in attempts or plants, etc. If they have favorite toys or blankets, etc. Please provide access to cleaning supplies (paper towels & soap/water) for food bowls, and carpet cleaning supplies if you've got carpet and accidents have happened before, just so I can clean it up effectively.

A typical day

Happy to do the usual: food, water, litter, play time. As well as brushes and whatever the cat may need. I always feel out how the cat feels about me being in their space, so some visits may be cut short if they're uneasy, some may go long if they need extra play time or socializing/cuddles.

Pet care experience

I've had pets my whole life, cats since I was 12 or so, and currently 2 of my own. I love taking care of my friends' cats and connecting with them. I'm often the one who can get an unpettable cat to let me pet him/her, get a lazy cat to enjoy play. I love learning about cats and feel I have the knowledge & experience to know how to care for them.

Jaxx was very well taken care of during our trip. Rebecca is very patient and knows a lot about cats’ behaviors.

This was my first time leaving my cats away for so long and Becky gave me peace of mind that my cats were ok while I was gone. She came in daily to give my cat her medicine. I appreciated the daily check-ins and updates. I can tell my grumpy cat took a liking to her. I would definitely ask for Becky's help again if I need to be away again.

Once again, Rebecca has taken great care of my boy! I’m so glad he has someone who takes the time to know his little personality quirks and has figured out how he likes to play.

Rebecca once again took STELLAR care of my boy! She always takes great pictures and detailed notes and I have no doubt Meg is getting great care when I am gone.
