I'm Rebecca Harder and I've been a pet lover all my life and I've had cats and dogs of my own. I am a licensed vet tech and I have experience with oral and injectable medication, as well as subcutaneous fluid administration. I'm up for almost anything, from having a relaxing day with your senior cat to a day at the dog park with your active puppy. Just let me know what kind of activities and needs your pet has each day and I will do my best to accommodate. I also offer transportation for your pet to and from vet visits, grooming, etc. I will work with you on what times for food, walks, etc. are appropriate for your pets and will accommodate my schedule.

I am available to come and stay at your home throughout the week, though I work part time at an animal clinic, so I will let you know prior to the week when I’m available all day. I am definitely off work on Tuesdays and Sundays. I will listen to your needs as a pet parent and will be active with your pet while I’m in your home. So, let’s set up a meet and greet! I am excited to meet your furry friend and start a wonderful relationship with you and your pet.

I have debated leaving this review as I do not like leaving negative ones, but thought that people considering who should watch their pet should know. Rebecca did great with showing up on time for each visit, even the meet & greet. I informed her that I have several cameras throughout my apartment and that there would be snacks and a instruction letter on the counter. When I get home from being med flighted off a cruise ship I arrive to almost every single one of my lights on. The instructions and cute cat themed thank you card were still on the counter untouched. Meaning they were not read. I can confirm that these weren't read because my cats favorite water bowl was completely empty (I was gone for 9 days). She only checked the new one my cat was still getting used to and I forgot to show her both of them so I made sure it was in my notes. She never changed the litter box and the tuna I wanted her to give was not washed down the drain of my sink and made my entire place smell rank. She also used my toilet, which is totally fine, but didn't flush. I reviewed my camera footage and noticed that she wasn't really spending time loving on my cat (who was literally meowing in her face) but instead talking on the phone. I didn't pay you for 30 minutes to talk on the phone the whole time. I literally waited 2 months to write this because I was so pissed off I waited until I moved. After Rebecca, I was too afraid to use anyone else from Rover and drove my cat home with me (24 hrs across the freakin country) for Christmas so that I could ensure she was cared for. Rebecca kept my cat alive though, which is something. She did come to return my apartment key, then asked to come inside because she remembered the nice letter she didn't open and said "oh, I thought it had a tip". I chose her because of the nice reviews she had, but after my experience, I can't confirm those are real.

Schedule
For check-ins and walks, I’m available Tuesdays and Sundays through out the day. For the other days, it depends on if I’m working at the animal clinic that day: I work part time, up to 3 days per week. For house sitting, I can stay any night of the week, and I will work with you on how much time I will need to spend with your pet.
