Information Rebecca G. would like to know about your pet

To ensure we offer the best possible care to your pet, we’d like to know a few things in advance: Socialisation – Is your pet comfortable around small children? If you're unsure, let's talk! Does your pet get along well with other animals? Are there any behavioural quirks we should be aware of? For example, does your pet bark at other dogs, jump when excited, cry when left alone? Energy level – Is your pet high-energy or more of a laid-back lounger? This helps us plan appropriate activities. Special fears or anxiety – Does your pet have specific triggers like loud noises, doorbells, crowds or separation anxiety? Ours certainly does! Medical and dietary requirements – Are there foods/treats your pet should avoid or specialist feeding schedules we should follow? Is your pet allergic to anything? Does your pet require any medication? General preferences – Does your pet have any favourite toys or treats? Any preferred sleeping spots or bedtime routines? We’re also happy to meet in advance and discuss any specific requirements for your pet, just let us know!

A typical day

We enjoy taking our miniature dachshund on daily walks. Between walks we will all have a sit/play in the garden, enjoy a game of tug-o-war with one of his many toys, or he'll simply sleep on the couch in the sun. We'd love to have your dog join us!

Pet care experience

Hello! We’re an animal loving family who work from home. As owners of a miniature dachshund, we know how important it is to find a safe, loving home for our four-legged family member to stay when we need to be away. I grew up owning dogs of all breeds and ages and have experience raising our own dog from a puppy. We routinely walk either Primrose Hill, Regents Park or Hampstead. We live in a spacious flat with a lift and large fenced in garden. Our three-year-old son enjoys being around dogs, and my husband has been a lifelong dog lover and owner. We will love your pup like they are our own and treat them as a member of our family. We are happy to keep your pup in the environment they are accustomed to. Whether that includes sleeping in our bed with us or sleeping in their own comfortable crate.

Rebecca has looked after my mini dachsund a few times and been brilliant with her. My dog runs enthusiastically into her home without a backwards glance! Rebecca has been great at giving updates and photos whilst my dog has been with her and her family. It's really reassuring to see how happy my dog is with them and enjoying their attention and cuddles. I'd happily recommend Rebecca to look after your dog and I know my dog looks forward to the next time she can go and stay!
