Rebecca works from home Friday through Monday, which means dogs get consistent attention, supervision, and affection throughout the day—plus plenty of potty breaks, enrichment, and outdoor time. On Tuesday through Thursday, Christopher is available for walks, check-ins, playtime, and taking dogs to our ½-acre fenced Sniffspot just a few blocks away.

In my home, I take a thoughtful and structured approach to caring for each dog, making sure they feel secure from the moment they arrive. I introduce pets slowly, monitor all interactions, and have dedicated spaces to separate animals for decompression whenever needed. Whether a dog is shy, overstimulated, or simply needs a quiet nap, i ensure they have a calm, safe area to relax. I maintain consistent routines, keep a close eye on behavior and body language, and customize care based on each dog’s comfort level. During every stay, we provide daily text and photo updates, so you’ll always know how your pup is doing—whether they’re playing at the Sniffspot, relaxing at home, or enjoying a walk.

Let me know if there are special needs (medicine, etc.) behaviors or other habits we should be aware of prior to your dog’s stay. I always feed our animals in separate spaces and give everyone a chance to have a bathroom break one at a time because I find it’s just good practice.
A typical day
We can go on walks and play “find it”. We’ll also plan to visit the fenced yard daily for sniffing, fetch, and getting some exercise.

Top-Tier Dog Stays with Sniffspot Playtime & All-Day Attention. Hi, we're Rebecca & Christopher! Your dog will stay in our home in Fairmount, just a few blocks away from Lemon Hill and the Parkway. In addition to regular walks and potty breaks, we have daily access to a ½-acre, fully fenced private yard just a few blocks away from our house. It’s one of the largest and top-rated Sniffspots in Philadelphia, and your dog will enjoy unlimited access for supervised play, exploration, and exercise. We welcome dogs of all sizes and look forward to giving your pup a safe, happy, and enriching stay. We do require dogs who stay with us to be housebroken. We also require a meet and greet prior to your dog’s stay. Rebecca has been caring for dogs since 2015, when she adopted her first rescue. Before joining Rover, we spent years boarding dogs for our dog trainer and have successfully cared for many dogs through that partnership. That experience and our experience training our own dogs has given us a strong foundation in behavior awareness, safe introductions, and creating calm, structured environments for dogs of all personalities. Now we're excited to branch out on our own and offer the same level of attentive, experienced care to your pup. We currently share our home with our dog, Panda, and sweet cat, Valentina, who are both friendly, well-socialized, and used to having new furry friends around.

Rebecca has cared for multiple generations of my cats—from seniors needing injections to energetic foster kittens—and she has been exceptional with all of them. She’s consistently caring, attentive, and great at communicating updates promptly and clearly. While I don’t have a dog, I’ve seen firsthand how well she looks after the dogs in her care, too.
