I’m a college student based in New York during the school year, but I return home to Virginia for breaks like summer, Thanksgiving, spring and winter. During those times, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to fully focus on pet care. I love spending my break bonding with animals and giving them the time and attention they need! Feel free to reach out anytime I’m always happy to share my current availability and see if I can accommodate your needs!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow their usual routine so the pet feels comfortable and safe. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks, while also keeping things clean and calm. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and whether they’re energetic or more laid-back and I always check in with updates so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.
Information Rebecca C. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know your pet’s routine, temperament, medical needs, and any special quirks ahead of time. Do they get along with other dogs? Are they anxious when left alone? Do they take medication or have dietary restrictions? The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day includes lots of love, outdoor walks, playtime with toys, and plenty of belly rubs. I’ll stick to their routine, whether it’s fetch in the yard, cozy couch time, or a calm stroll around the neighborhood. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for like they’re part of the family.

Pet care experience
Hello! I truly care for every dog like they’re my own. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pup. I regularly care for my neighbor’s golden retriever and have experience handling different temperaments and energy levels. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m patient, observant, and always prioritize a pet’s comfort and safety. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and committed to making every visit a positive one for both pets and their people!
Reviews

Rebecca watched our dog for the first time and she was wonderful! She is caring and was very attentive to all of our care instructions. We would highly recommend her!

Rebecca did an amazing job staying with our large dog while we were out of town. She was always highly responsive and sent pictures and updates throughout her stay. Our dog loved her. We can't wait to use her housesitting service again!

I highly recommend Rebecca! She took great care of Milo and our home. She sent pictures and updated me when I was gone, and Milo was happy and healthy when I came home.
Rebecca did an incredible job house sitting with our two pups while we were away. She took amazing care of them, and went above and beyond when managing an emergency medical situation which we are so grateful for! She truly treated our dogs like her own. Highly recommended!
