Safety, trust & environment
Some more background info about me is that I have two Chiweenies (less than 20lbs each) and two domestic shorthair cats. When pet sitting in my home, I can sequester your pet(s) separate from mine if needed with one set of pets upstairs and the other downstairs. I will make the decision based on your feedback about your pet and my observations of their behavior once in my home.
Information Rebecca B. would like to know about your pet
Prior to accepting your pet into my home, I need to know their routines, including meal times, sleep times (and preferred locations), and exercise. For dogs: Please be sure to include information about how to safely walk your dog, including information about harnesses or gentle leads. Additionally, if your dog experiences any leash reactivity or barrier reactivity during walks, please inform me of the strategies you use to help your dog be more successful on walks. Lastly, I need to know if there are any medical needs or concerns (diabetes, seizures, urinary blockages,) and what you would like me to do in the unlikely event of an emergency.
A typical day
I like to feed the animals between 6-7am, then take them out to the backyard to relieve themselves. I do first walks around 11am, and second walks around 4pm. Dinner is usually between 5-6pm, and then out to the backyard again. Backyard time one final time before bedtime, around 10pm. (My backyard is equipped with string lights for outdoor time at night to ensure the dogs and I can walk around and see!)

Pet care experience
I've been working with animals for over 10 years. Most recently, I worked at Oregon Humane Society for 3.5 years, and prior to my career with animals, I worked as a preschool teacher. Empathy and caretaking are integral to my personality. I believe that pets are family, and that's why I like to chat with clients before starting to work with their animal. Each pet has its own quirks, and every family has their own routines and priorities. I look forward to hearing more about your pet and beginning to work together!

Amazing! Rebecca took great care of our fur baby while we were away. Lots of walks, snuggles, and pictures! Thank you!

Rebecca is such a great loving person! She took care of my dog Glasgow while we are on Christmas trip, she offered great environment for dog to stay and play with her own dogs. She is also a good communicator, updated information every day, my whole family feels grateful to having Rebeca take care Glasgow while we are away, definitely book her again!!
Becca watched our dog at our house and did an excellent job. Our Springer Spaniel was well taken care of with walks and playtime and our house was just like it was when we left! Highly recommend her for dog services!
My corgis absolutely adore Rebecca! They can be a bit nervous around new people, so was amazed at how quickly they both warmed up upon first meeting her. Rebecca has been my go-to dog sitter for years now — particularly when my Cardigan was just a puppy and I needed someone to watch her while I ran errands. While with the dogs, Rebecca is mindful to send photo updates without being prompted, which I greatly appreciate. It is clear they have a great time with her and are always so excited when she comes to care for them. Rebecca is wonderfully detail oriented and careful to follow all feeding instructions. She’s a huge asset and I’m so grateful for how well she cares for them.
