Space in my heart & home for a dog

I had my own dog, a Border Collie called Morphy, from the age of 15 until he sadly passed away when I was 30. He was a huge part of my life, and caring for him gave me years of hands-on experience with dogs and their individual personalities and needs. While the timing isn’t quite right for me to commit to owning a dog again just yet, I absolutely love being around dogs and regularly look after pets for friends and family. As a keen walker who enjoys spending time outdoors, I’m always happy to provide plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship for your four-legged friend. Whether it’s a walk, a day of care, or some company while you’re away, I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.

Darcey had a great stay with Rebecca and her family. She had lots of nice walks and plenty of attention and affection. She is a sensitive older dog but was happy and relaxed on her return home. It was lovely to receive lots of feedback and photos of how she was getting on throughout her stay and Rebecca was very flexible about pick up when my train was delayed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her in with Rebecca again.

Rebecca made me feel so at ease from the very beginning - it being my first booking on Rover. She kept me informed and updated throughout the sit and I was sent loads of pics showing just how relaxed Tommy was in her care. I booked her again that same week! Will definitely use again and am so glad I found someone I can trust.

Doggy Day Care • jun 28, 2026

Totally lovely lady, Millie is a very anxious girl and hates being separated from me but she warmed to Rebecca after a few minutes.. she enjoyed her walks and cuddles and fell asleep when we got home. Will definitely be using this lady again. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I was so thankful she was so kind. Thank you so much

Becky has been fantastic with my dog. She is reliable, caring and I always feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in safe hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Becky to anyone looking for trustworthy and professional doggy daycare.

Becky is fabulous with dogs, having grown up with them , she keeps them in line and they also love her too . I would rather my dog stay with Becky over anyone else and I know 100% she’s being well looking after and is happy. I highly recommend Becky as a calm, reliable, trustworthy and loving dog sitter .

Schedule

I currently work from home, which means I’m able to provide plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your dog will have regular opportunities to go outside for toilet breaks, as well as enjoy a couple of walks each day, depending on their age, energy levels, and routine. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable, cared for, and included, so I’ll ensure they receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection while they’re in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a secure, fenced garden where your dog can safely relax and play. As I don’t currently have a dog of my own, it’s an ideal environment for dogs who prefer their own space or enjoy one-to-one attention. That said, my mum’s dog does occasionally come to stay, so if your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, there may be opportunities for some friendly four-legged companionship as well.

A typical day

I have a small but contained garden for them to explore and play in, lots of lovely local walks on my doorstep including woodlands, and a huge park and a family home with older (age 14+) children to give them lots of attention and belly rubs.
