I currently work from home, which means I’m able to provide plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. Your dog will have regular opportunities to go outside for toilet breaks, as well as enjoy a couple of walks each day, depending on their age, energy levels, and routine. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable, cared for, and included, so I’ll ensure they receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection while they’re in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure, fenced garden where your dog can safely relax and play. As I don’t currently have a dog of my own, it’s an ideal environment for dogs who prefer their own space or enjoy one-to-one attention. That said, my mum’s dog does occasionally come to stay, so if your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, there may be opportunities for some friendly four-legged companionship as well.

A typical day
I have a small but contained garden for them to explore and play in, lots of lovely local walks on my doorstep including woodlands, and a huge park and a family home with older (age 14+) children to give them lots of attention and belly rubs.

Space in my heart & home for a dog
Pet care experience
I had my own dog, a Border Collie called Morphy, from the age of 15 until he sadly passed away when I was 30. He was a huge part of my life, and caring for him gave me years of hands-on experience with dogs and their individual personalities and needs. While the timing isn’t quite right for me to commit to owning a dog again just yet, I absolutely love being around dogs and regularly look after pets for friends and family. As a keen walker who enjoys spending time outdoors, I’m always happy to provide plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship for your four-legged friend. Whether it’s a walk, a day of care, or some company while you’re away, I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.
Reviews

Becky was a wonderful host to our dog. She was very friendly and helpful and made our dog feel completely at home. Will definitely use again 😀

Cocoa had a lovely time with Rebecca. It was a bit cooler so he was able to work off some energy and went for a swim/paddle in a nearby stream. His favourite thing! Rebecca was great with him.
Rebecca Gigi received excellent care during her stay with Rebecca, and we could not have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Rebecca’s communication was outstanding. Prior to booking, she was friendly, responsive, and happy to have a pre-meet, which gave us confidence that Gigi would be in great hands. During the stay, Rebecca kept us updated with great photos showing Gigi having fun, relaxing, and enjoying her time. It was reassuring to see how happy and comfortable she was. Gigi enjoyed great walks, exercise, and attention, and it was clear that Rebecca genuinely cared about her well-being. When I collected Gigi, she was relaxed, content, and clearly had a fantastic time. We would not hesitate to book with Rebecca again.

Rebecca was great and very helpful. Cocoa was very happy being there. Thank you Rebecca
