Reliable Care for Dogs and Cats
Animals have always brought me joy! I genuinely feel happiest when I’m around them. I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and, more recently, cats. I’ve also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society, which gave me experience meeting and walking dogs with different personalities and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve helped care for a high-energy dog, supported my senior family dog in her later years, and now live with two dogs and two cats that I help care for every day. I also regularly spend time with and care for pets belonging to friends and extended family. I love getting to know each animal’s individual personality and making sure they feel comfortable with me. I’m happy to follow their normal routines, spend time playing or relaxing with them, and give them the kind of attention they’re used to at home. I’m comfortable bathing dogs, giving pills in treats or pill pockets, cleaning up accidents when needed, caring for multiple pets in one home, and walking up to two dogs at a time.

I take pet safety and respecting people’s homes seriously. When I’m in someone else’s space, I’m tidy, careful, and make sure to follow all instructions and routines closely. I’ll lock up carefully, keep things as I found them, and make sure your pets are comfortable every step of the way. When meeting new animals, I let them come to me at their own pace. I stay calm and gentle, give them space when needed, and stick to their usual routines so they feel secure. I always double-check leashes and harnesses, keep doors and gates closed, and stay aware of any triggers or stressors, such as other animals while we’re out on walks. If anything seems unusual or concerning, I’ll contact you promptly and follow the emergency or veterinary instructions you’ve provided. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities.

Becky was absolutely exceptional in caring for my dogs. She went above and beyond, visiting three different times before the actual weekend to get to know them and ensure everything was in place. She’s intelligent, attentive, and asks all the right questions. Throughout the weekend, Becky’s communication was outstanding—she provided regular updates that gave me complete peace of mind. My two Golden Retrievers have since fallen completely in love with her! I would highly recommend Becky for any animal care needs. She’s a lovely, trustworthy person, and I had zero worries leaving my dogs in her care.
Becky is amazing with animals. She’s helped me care for my two Redbone Coonhounds and two senior cats, and she’s always so gentle and loving with them. She helps with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them lots of affection. I always feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter.
Becky has had a love for animals her entire life, and it truly shows in the way she cares for them. She was an incredible help to me with my dog Lulu, from her wild puppy days full of energy and chaos, all the way through her senior years. Becky was always there—cleaning up messes, taking Lulu on long walks, and showing her nothing but patience, love, and respect. As Lulu aged, Becky treated her with so much tenderness and attentiveness. She was a pro at giving medications when I couldn’t, and even made bath time sweet and cozy, wrapping Lulu up like a little burrito afterward. It was clear how much Lulu adored her. I would 100% trust Becky with any pet, or any living being for that matter. She’s a bright, beautiful soul that animals naturally gravitate to, and anyone would be lucky to have her care for their furry family member.
Rebecca is a great option for anything pet related! She has watched my dogs plenty of time over the years and is the first call I make when I need someone to help out with my girls! She has experience with both big and small dogs, and dogs with all different kinds of temperaments! I have a 9 year old Rottweiler mix and a 5 year old American Bully that are beyond obsessed with her coming over, they see her as part of the family now! Whether your pups are independent or want some cuddles Rebecca will certainly be a happy addition for your dogs to hang with!
Rebecca is an amazing pet sitter and house sitter. She has house sat for me and watched my dog and cat multiple times and always follows all directions to a T. She takes the safety of the animals very seriously and will care for your pets like they are her own. She is tidy and reliable. It can be scary for trust your home and pets to a stranger but she is one of the good ones. You will not regret using her for your services!

Schedule
I work from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays and am almost always available on weekends. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, including overnight stays. I focus on nearby bookings and travel by walking or public transit. On weekdays, I’m generally available after work, with more flexibility on weekends. Advance notice is appreciated, but I’m always happy to be asked about other times or last-minute availability.

- I’m comfortable with most pets and personalities, and I do my best to adjust to each animal’s individual needs. Before we get started, it’s helpful for me to know a little about your pet’s personality, routine, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I like to know about leash behaviour, reactivity, shyness, or any history of aggression, as well as feeding and bathroom routines, medications, medical needs, and any triggers or special quirks. I’m also happy to hear about favourite toys, games, walking routes, or anything else that helps your pet feel at ease. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can follow their routine and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.
