Pet care experience
Pet home away from home!!!
Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am looking to be your dog/cat care giver with my husband , Tom. I love animals, and understand the responsibilities, joys, and concerns of being a pet parent. I have experience of caring for multiple breeds of dog from puppy to elderly and rescued two abandoned dogs myself. My cat experience started in my childhood and more recently involved feral cat rescue. Your pet will be treated in a manner sympathetic to their breed, type, and temperament including following your owner care instructions. We will do everything possible to minimize the stress of away time from you that your pet is experiencing and will treat your pet as if it were my own. We hope to provide you the assurance that your pet(s) is in safe, loving hands. I am a Realtor and therefore work from home and my husband is retired. This allows us to provide 24-hour care for Rover clients in our care. I have a fenced-in backyard with a corner lot home and lots of space with a gated front patio. My home has tile flooring throughout which allows me to provide a safe and clean environment for your pet. I purposely only take pets of similar and compatible personality type at the same time which is why, especially for first time clients, I highly recommend a meet and greet. I do have one cat (Cirrus) and neutered Boston Terrier (Hunter). Hunter is very sociable and my home is set up so that Cirrus can be separated and have a alone time as he is in his senior years. Most of my clients tell me their dogs feel like they are returning from camp and go home happily exhausted when it's all done. I typically only take two to three clients at a time.

Ratings and reviews
Toby had another great stay with Rebecca. He was very depressed this morning, missing all of his 4 legged friends. Always a fun, socially stimulating, and active stay for him. Thank you, Rebecca for doing what you do and doing such a great job !!!
Rebecca is a great dog sitter. Rebecca was great at communicating on how he was doing and sending photos throughout his stay. That reassured me that he was doing well and in a safe environment. We will definitely be visiting Rebecca again soon in the future.

Rebecca has always been our go to when we need a dog sitter. The only time Toby cannot sit still and obey simple commands is when we walk up to her house because he is so excited to see Rebecca and the other dogs.
Rebecca was absolutely wonderful with our Pomeranian, Banks. He’s an extremely anxious dog, so we’re always a little nervous leaving him somewhere new, but he immediately felt comfortable in Rebecca’s home. She created such a safe, relaxed environment for him, whether he wanted to play with the other dogs or just have some time to himself. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about him, and we always felt like he was in great hands. The peace of mind we have when Banks stays with Rebecca is huge. We’re so thankful we found her and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their dog!

We are grateful for the exceptional care our lab, Finn, receives when staying with Rebecca & Tom. They are terrific & great communicators. The peace of mind knowing our Finny is in good hands is priceless!

This was Taco’s first time staying with Rebecca and Tom and it won’t be the last! They care so much and are so attentive. I really appreciate how they kept the dogs separate upon tacos arrival so they could warm up to each other before letting her freely interact with everyone else. Taco clearly had a blast. And Rebecca sends photos throughout the day which gave so much peace of mind. It made me feel free to enjoy my time because I could see how much she was enjoying hers💖

Home characteristics
A typical day
My husband and I take dogs on age and breed appropriate walks typically three to four times per day. All food and treats are only given to pets that are provided by the owners just in case there are allergy issues. All pets are fed separately to ensure no food aggression or stealing. I do have crates but they are only used per owner instructions or as separation requirements for when drop-offs are pickups are happening. We routinely spend time in our backyard and your pet will have lots of supervised backyard time which is a fully shaded lot with lots of dog appropriate play activity.
