Information Rebecca B. would like to know about your pet

Please make sure you provide details to me of any special needs or behaviors that I need to be aware of. For example: on walks he should only walk on the right side and say "curb" before entering a street, he is very afraid of fireworks, he loves other dogs but doesn't like to share his toys, loves food but eats really fast so please feed x number times per day small meals, etc......

A typical day

My husband and I take dogs on age and breed appropriate walks typically three to four times per day. All food and treats are only given to pets that are provided by the owners just in case there are allergy issues. All pets are fed separately to ensure no food aggression or stealing. I do have crates but they are only used per owner instructions or as separation requirements for when drop-offs are pickups are happening. We routinely spend time in our backyard and your pet will have lots of supervised backyard time which is a fully shaded lot with lots of dog appropriate play activity.

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am looking to be your dog/cat care giver with my husband , Tom. I love animals, and understand the responsibilities, joys, and concerns of being a pet parent. I have experience of caring for multiple breeds of dog from puppy to elderly and rescued two abandoned dogs myself. My cat experience started in my childhood and more recently involved feral cat rescue. Your pet will be treated in a manner sympathetic to their breed, type, and temperament including following your owner care instructions. We will do everything possible to minimize the stress of away time from you that your pet is experiencing and will treat your pet as if it were my own. We hope to provide you the assurance that your pet(s) is in safe, loving hands. I am a Realtor and therefore work from home and my husband is retired. This allows us to provide 24-hour care for Rover clients in our care. I have a fenced-in backyard with a corner lot home and lots of space with a gated front patio. My home has tile flooring throughout which allows me to provide a safe and clean environment for your pet. I purposely only take pets of similar and compatible personality type at the same time which is why, especially for first time clients, I highly recommend a meet and greet. I do have one cat (Cirrus) and neutered Boston Terrier (Hunter). Hunter is very sociable and my home is set up so that Cirrus can be separated and have a alone time as he is in his senior years. Most of my clients tell me their dogs feel like they are returning from camp and go home happily exhausted when it's all done. I typically only take two to three clients at a time.

Walter had such a nice time at Rebecca's house. I wasn't sure he would want to come home. He enjoyed playing with all his new furry friends. I never feel stressed when Walter is at Rebecca's because I know he is being well taken care of.

Rebecca was the perfect caretaker for my dog while I was out of town. She sent me multiple pictures daily so I didn’t miss my dog too much. My dog had a fantastic time with playmates. Rebecca insured my dog and other dogs stayed safe during their stay at her house. I would happily rebook Rebecca again.

We are greatful we met Rebecca and Tom! Our current sitter was out of town. When we scheduled a booking Rebecca recommended a meet and greet, which turned out very well. Since PK was familiar from the meet and great he was excited at drop-off. Rebecca sent lots of photos and kept us informed. PK had a great time and we will definitely have Rebecca and Tom watch PK again!

Rebecca was very thoughtful in how she took care of our little guy. She let the dogs take naps in their own space while also having very safe playtime and sent us pictures throughout. She’s a lifesaver as we have been looking for a sitter for a while. Thanks so much to her and her husband for caring for him! My girlfriend adores Aloo and was so nervous to find a new sitter for him but felt so much better after meeting Rebecca and seeing that Aloo was in great company. We are so lucky to have found her and can’t wait to bring him back!
