I have been caring for animals my entire life. As a 10 year old child, I was fostering dogs while managing my schoolwork and evolving social life. I have had and cared for many different types of pets, including (but not limited to): dogs, cats, birds, hermit crabs, and hamsters. As a 28 year old adult, I now have a sweet dog named Zelda (GSD/Husky mix, 5yrs, 60lbs), whom I adopted at 3 months. I trained her myself and had her fully housebroken with no accidents within 5 months. I have also cared for and assisted in training my mother's dog Sumo (St. Bernard, ~9yrs, 165lbs. With my life experience and graduate degree in psychology, I am very capable of handing whatever comes my way. I look forward to meeting you and your baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I regularly take my dogs out for relief and exercise in my yard. They get regular feedings and water bowl cleanings to make sure they are well fed and hydrated. When it gets hot, I make sure to add ice cubes to their water, provide them with pupsicles (frozen dog safe ice cream!), and keep the AC running. I always make sure to build in playtime and snuggles to make them feel loved and cared for.

Becky has been absolutely wonderful with my older, sometimes difficult pup. She’s patient, kind, and really knows how to handle dogs with extra quirks. It’s a relief to have someone so dependable and caring with my girl when I’m not able to be. Rebecca has lived with and cared for dogs for her entire life. She also has extensive experience with catsitting. Rebecca grew up in a home that always had at least two dogs (and often had more). She began contributing to the care of her family pets when she was very young, and when she was in middle school she began fostering dogs on her own for a local rescue organization. Rebecca adopted her own dog, a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Zelda, in 2020, and she has been solely responsible for Zelda's care and training since then. She also participates heavily in the care and training of her family's dog-reactive 180-pound rescued Saint Bernard, which is to say that there is probably no dog she cannot handle! For all of her high school years, Rebecca cared regularly for the cat of a neighbor who traveled frequently for work. The cat required food, water, litter-box maintenance, and medication, all of which are solidly in Rebecca's skill set. I have left my pets in Rebecca's care many times, and I never worry about their safety. They get the kind of attention and responsible care that only a true animal lover can give. I strongly recommend Rebecca as a petsitter!

Schedule
I am working part-time on the weekends and on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursday nights. Therefore, I have a great deal of time to dedicate to your loved ones and make sure they are well cared for!
