I'm a landscape architect, artist and animal lover. I've cared for furry family members for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have had the privilege of caring for dozens of dogs in addition to being a being a pet parent to cats, dogs, horses, and a couple of rodents. For the first time in my life I am without a pup of my own. This allows me to easily provide in home care for your fur babies and shower them with love. I am experienced with senior animals (having had several myself, one that even received injections toward the end of her life) specialty diets, and giving oral medications. While staying in your home or mine (in Taunton, MA) I will follow your pet's typical schedule to the best of my ability ensuring your fur babies are as comfortable as possible while you are away. Dogs will receive two dedicated 30 minute exercise sessions (i.e. walking, games of fetch, etc.) and 3 potty breaks daily. I will check-in with you one time per day, generally in the evening, and initiate additional communication should I have questions about your pet's care. With loads of animal experience and love to give, I get along with nearly all animals. Your pet will be very comfortable in my home and treated like part of my family. Even very anxious and shy dogs generally feel comfortable with me.

I don't think I can say enough good things about Rebecca. She was a godsend. She housesat for us to take care of our dog and cat. Through out our vacation, she kept us informed of their wellbeing, was very responsive and sent plenty of updates and pictures. She went above and beyond what she needed to do, she even revived a plant I was sure was dying! When our kitty had some stomach issues, she knew what to do and how to take care of him. She brought him back to good health and kept me informed throughout the process. I felt so reassured our pets were so well tended to. I very highly recommend Rebecca, she's amazing!
Rebecca was absolutely wonderful house sitting my dog. She went above and beyond to make sure Leroy received the best care. Not only was she attentive with Leroy she also made sure my place was spotless and washed my sheets. I will always use her on my future trips.
Rebecca took such great care of our pup. She really knows how to care for dogs and make them feel comfortable in a new space. We are extraordinary grateful she was able to accommodate our very last minute reservation too. She was very attentive to our Hercules’ needs and provided wonderful updates. She also shared a few absolutely jaw dropping photos that we really appreciated. We highly recommend!
Rebecca did a wonderful job caring for my dog! She is very responsive and took my golden out for hikes. She took great care of my place as well.

I only watch small to medium size breeds in my home (located in Taunton, MA) who have shown no aggression to other animals, especially cats as there are a number in my building. I have a partially fenced in yard so your dog will be kept on a leash at all times unless we are in a gated play area and have prior permission for off leash play.

A typical day
Whether in my home or yours I will be active with your dog. Two 30-minute exercise sessions may consist of long walks, playing ball or other pet preferred activity, or going to a park. My goal is to provide a similar level of exercise to the one they would receive while in your care.

Availability
While the exercise schedule and sitter routine I outline above are generally sufficient for most animals I understand you and your pet may need more specialized. Should you or your pet require additional services such as enhanced exercise sessions, constant care, and/or specialized pet/home care, this can be provided and fees will be adjusted accordingly. ***All rates and fees are subject to the 20% commission every sitter pays to Rover for each completed reservation.
