I am currently between jobs and taking a couple of online courses so I have a fully open and flexible schedule. I live in Davis and have my own cats that I attend to and love on, but I am also helping foster cats with my friend in Sacramento. I am comfortable in both Davis and Sacramento, and I spend a lot of time in both. I can always adjust my schedule to try and work something out that works for you and your pet.

I have a fenced in yard and two cats that generally stay out of the way when a new friend is around. I live with one other person that is also very welcoming and friendly with new animals. We have plenty of places to explore with a decent sized backyard and 3 nearby parks. If I'm providing care in your home, simply explain what you're looking for and I will do my best to accommodate, or be honest if it's not something I can manage. Overnights and drop-ins should not be a problem as long as I can also drop in on my animals.

It is easier for me to take care of smaller dogs. I would like to know if there’s any behavioral abnormalities I should be aware of. I would like to know if the dog is potty and crate trained as well as whether or not they should use a peepad in between walks. As for cats, I just want to know that they will do okay with another cat in the house without becoming violent or territorial, and that they’re faithful to their litter box. Cats do best in their own home, and my cats also do best with no other cats in their home, but I can do my best to see if we can make something work if we need to! I would also just want to know everyone is flea and worm free or if I need to monitor an ongoing situation. I'm always happy to help, but I need to know what I'm potentially exposing my own pets to.

I'm happy to walk dogs or take them to the park for some ball. I have a nice neighborhood and decent backyard if I'm boarding, but I also love to explore new areas and have the pup show me their favorite route through sniffs! I can play with, talk to, coexist with, gossip with - the list goes on - or whatever your cat wants to do. I probably want to do it too.

Please look through my photos to get a bit of me in a snapshot! I have had pets all my life and I’ve been housesitting since I was 16 years old in high school. Now I’m a 27 year old Davis graduate who is still eager to help out with furry family’s in the community. I used to work with cats, and I have two of my own now, so I have quite a lot of experience with them. I had dogs growing up, and I've been taking care of other's dogs for the last 11 years. I have experience with oral medication for both dogs and cats. I have a bit of experience in pain management medications and scheduling. I have experience with anxious dogs and older dogs ranging from small to medium-large. I am often a busy person, so for me the most important aspect of working together is communication and honesty. If I feel like I can’t provide the services you are looking for, I will let you know quickly and truthfully. I know how scary it is to leave behind your pets and I want all of my clients to know I have their best interest in mind when booking.

She was extremely communicative, adaptable, and kind to my dog. I really appreciated how flexible she was with scheduling and how thoughtfully she cared for my pet. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Highly recommend!
Rebecca is amazing! She stayed with our 2 senior dogs while we were out of town. The minute she came over our dogs loved her. She sent plenty of pictures and kept us updated on a regular basis. Could not recommend her enough.
Rabecca was awesome and we were so glad to leave our dogs in great hands.
Rebecca was a great dog sitter for our puppy. He was so happy all weekend and she sent us consistent updates and photos. She stayed at our home and left it cleaner than when we left. We would definitely hire her again.
