I currently work in a dental practice in Fort Myers, Florida 4 days a week, which leaves me available to do local sitting for furry friends who are ok to stay alone between 3-5 hours at a time (so that I can check in on them during my 1 hour lunch breaks). Aside from that I can do Full time house sitting for long weekends along with check-ins and pet walking.

A typical day
Believe me when I say, I can be versatile! If you and your pet prefer to cuddle, I can cuddle! If you have an active pet who needs to release energy, I actively run about 3 days a week and am looking for some motivation to do a few more! I like to go to public parks both in Fort Myers and Lehigh acres, but if your pets need a place a bit quieter, I can definitely make accommodations.

You know that friend who stops and says under their breath “DOG” or “PUPPY” whenever they see one in public? Yea, that’s me! I have such a love for cats and dogs it stops me in my tracks. I have experience with animals thanks to years of working in a Vet practice in Patterson, NY. Now I currently live in Southwest Florida and am looking to build new opportunities. I have experience in house sitting for the past 7 years and usually work with repeat families whenever they have their family trips. It started off as just being a favor for friends, but the more I did it, the more I loved it! I’ve worked with fur babies of all ages and have no problem giving medications if needed. I also tend to have a great hand with furry friends who tend to get nervous around new people. What also sets me apart is that, as of April of 2026, I have been married to another Rover sitter! If making sure that your furry family gets twice the love, my husband Luis and I are happy to give it, but only if you choose. You can count on us to make your loved one feel like they are with family!

Rebeca did great job taking care of our two cats. She was very responsible and followed instructions we gave her. We received photos of our very sociable, happy cat on Rebeca’s lap, and she tried her best to lure our nonsocial cat out to no avail, but left food for her in the back of a closet where she normally hides and checked each day that she was eating. We would definitely ask her to sit for our cats again.
Rebecca was very responsive.. great with Patch, James and Lucy! We so appreciate her stay with them!
We moved to Ft. Myers without a dog sitter. We found Rebecca and she is fantastic.
Rebecca was great. This was the first time we used Rover and Rebecca for a weekend away. She communicated with us, and took great care of him. Already booked her for 2 more weekends.
