Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for. I make time each day for feeding, walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need to feel comfortable and happy. I’m very consistent with routines and make sure pets are checked on regularly throughout the day. I also prioritize communication with owners by sending updates and photos so they know their pet is doing well. Since I enjoy spending time with animals, caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to each day and I always make sure they receive dependable, attentive care.

I care for every pet as if they were my own. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty areas, and make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’m also happy to administer medications if needed and always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and safe. If pets are in my home, they will have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with lots of supervision. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, playtime, and a calm place to rest. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is always to make pets feel loved and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in good hands.

It’s helpful to know their feeding schedule, any medications or health concerns, and how they usually behave around new people. I also like to know about their energy level, favorite toys or activities, and any specific habits or triggers they may have. For dogs, it’s important to know about leash behavior and how they interact with other animals. For cats, I like to know their litter box routine and where they like to spend most of their time. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged while their owners are away. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug, and spending time outside so they can explore and burn off energy. For cats, I like to use toys, laser pointers, or wand toys for playtime, along with giving them attention, brushing, and plenty of affection if they enjoy it. I also make sure every pet gets individual attention based on their personality. Some pets love lots of play and activity, while others prefer cuddles and quiet companionship. My goal is always to make sure they feel comfortable, entertained, and loved while they’re in my care.
