Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I currently work part-time at a school, but the school year ends in early June, which means I’ll have open availability for pet sitting and dog walking throughout the summer and beyond. I enjoy spending my free time with animals, whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company, so pet care is something I genuinely love and easily make time for in my day-to-day life.

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their routines as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to learn each pet’s specific needs—from feeding schedules and walk times to favorite toys and any quirks or health concerns. I keep things clean, calm, and consistent, always treating their home and pets with the same care and respect I would in my own space. Whether it’s playtime, or snuggles, I’m attentive, patient, and focused on making sure each pet feels safe and loved while their owners are away.
Information Reagan R. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know key details about pets ahead of time to provide the best care and keep them safe and happy. This includes their daily routine, dietary needs, medical conditions, behavior around strangers or other animals, and any fears or triggers (like loud noises or thunderstorms). It also helps to know what toys or activities they enjoy, how they like to be comforted, and whether they’re used to being alone or need extra companionship.
A typical day
For dogs, I’d plan fun activities like playing fetch, going on walks, or running around in a safe yard or park to help them burn off energy. I’d also include some training games with treats and set up a mini obstacle course or puzzle toys to keep their minds active. For cats, I’d engage them with wand toys, laser pointers, and interactive puzzles, and create cozy spots for them to climb, perch, or nap. I’d also spend quiet time with them for cuddles or gentle brushing, depending on what they enjoy.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my entire life from growing up with cats as a child and dogs since I was born so caring for pets feels like second nature to me. I have experience with everything from training energetic puppies to providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. My lifelong connection with animals helps me quickly build trust and tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality. I’m reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and treat every pet like they’re my own.
