Prior to the visit, PLEASE let me know of any walking habits your dog might have. It is *crucial* that you don't leave out any details as this can be a safety issue. Examples: Heavy pulling, chasing/attacking wild life (birds, squirrels, snakes, coyote, mtn lions, etc), consuming out of ordinary objects (grass, sticks, dirt, feces, glass, wild life, etc), Sensitivity/Reactivity to sounds/visuals (cars, construction, thunder/lightning, barking, crying, sirens, etc), dash out of an open door, and leash reactivity to other humans/dogs.

My furry friends and I enjoy exploring nature's playground with some hikes and lake trips. But when we're feeling extra lazy, we like to snuggle up in bed. Of course, we make sure to get our daily dose of exercise with 1-2 hours of walks each day. For the safety of your pet, I always feed them at least an hour before any outdoor activities and avoid walks 1-2 hours after meals. If you prefer that your pup takes a break from walks during their boarding stay, just let me know! *Depending on the weather, walks may be shorter than normal. This ensures the safety and health of your dog.*

Ready or Not, Here I WALK!
Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Hello there! I'm Razelle, your local dog walker reporting for duty! I'm here to make sure your pup gets the best care possible. I currently do remote work and have found plenty of dedicated time to do something I really enjoy on the side. As a certified Rover pro, I provide all sorts of services. From dog walking to house sitting and drop-in visits. But what sets me apart from the rest of the sitters is my passion for your dog’s well-being. I've had countless reviews on Rover and other platforms commenting that I treat their dog as my own. If you have training regimes or a set schedule, you can count on me to get it done! I also incorporate basic obedience training during our walks [if requested]. I teach simple commands like "Heel," "Look," and "Sit" to keep your pup focused and obedient, even in the face of distractions. This can be important when facing unexpected encounters! FRIENDLINESS WITH OTHERS REQUIRED: Safety is a top priority for me, as I understand that your dog's well-being is of the utmost importance to you. For this reason, I am unable to care for dogs with a history of attacking other dogs or humans. Furthermore, if your dog exhibits any aggressive behavior during a visit, I will be unable to continue caring for them in the future. This policy ensures the safety of all dogs and humans in my care and allows me to provide the best possible service to you and your furry companion. WALKING SUPPLIES? To ensure that your dog's walk is safe and enjoyable, please make sure that your pup has a well-fitted collar or harness, and that you have poop bags and a leash at the ready. While shoes are not required, I recommend them for added safety and comfort during your dog's adventure. Thank you for helping me provide the best possible care for your pup! Disclaimer: Ensuring that your dog's collar or harness is well-fitted is crucial to their safety during walks. If I determine that the collar or harness cannot be properly adjusted to fit your dog securely, I will be unable to walk your furry friend, as this increases the risk of your dog getting loose and running away. Please be mindful of the fit of your dog's collar or harness before scheduling a walk to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your pup. SCHEDULE? Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Weekends: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change according to the sunrise/sunset* --------------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ: *WILL YOU SEND UPDATES OF MY DOGS?* You betcha! At the end of every walk or stay, I'll send you a detailed report on how your furry friend fared. You can expect to see all the commands we used during our walk, the exciting experiences your pup had, and of course, plenty of adorable photos from our time together. Who knows, you might even find yourself printing out the report and hanging it up on your fridge for all to see! *I HAVE NEVER LEFT MY DOG BEFORE, WILL HE OR SHE BE OKAY?* It is natural for some dogs to experience separation anxiety when being cared for by someone new. As a professional dog walker, I do my utmost to ensure that each dog feels comfortable and at ease with plenty of interaction and attention. It is not uncommon for new surroundings to disrupt a dog's digestive system, resulting in loose stools. However, there is no cause for alarm as this is a normal reaction to a change in routine. Typically, after 1-2 visits, the dog's digestive system will adjust, and any issues will resolve. It is important to note that the level of reaction varies depending on the dog's unique personality and temperament. *WHAT IF MY DOG IS SPECIAL NEEDS?* I am able to care for nearly ALL special needs dogs! 1) Allergies: Please let me know of any beforehand! 2) Medicine: info must be written on a note alongside food, with dosage, etc. (non-medical injections such as insulin is okay. In the state of Virginia, medical/complex injections require specific qualifications/certifications, which I do not have.) 3) Diapers are okay 4) Blind or Deaf? I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. You can trust that I will provide the utmost care for your furry friend. Disclaimer: Please note that dogs can learn from their canine companions during visits. However, I cannot be held responsible for any habits that your dog may pick up from other dogs. Additionally, I cannot be held liable if your dog decides to consume unusual debris or objects during our visit. It is essential to keep a close eye on your dog and guarantee their safety at all times. *GROOMING?* Although I don't do grooming myself, I don't mind picking up and dropping your dog off at your preferred groomer/grooming salon for $10 each way. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any injuries/damages/harm the grooming salon may cause to your dog. Please make sure that this is a groomer/salon that you TRUST. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT MY DOG Meet Suki, my adorable 3 year old Blue Merle Border Collie! She's sweet as honey and loves everyone, including cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. I can't guarantee she won't lick you to death, but hey, that's just her way of saying hello! I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. But if you're not cool with it, just let me know, and I'll make sure she stays home, catching up on her favorite TV shows or something. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you want to chat about your pet concerns and their needs. Again, I am home mostly all of the day. Anything else you would want to tell me I would love to hear!

Excellent!!

Razelle provided exceptional and reliable support during my recovery from surgery by taking care of walks for my dog, Athena. Athena was always excited to see her, greeting her with affection. Razelle followed all my instructions meticulously. I am very pleased with her services and will certainly utilize her assistance again in the future.

Super friendly and helpful. My dog was so happy and relaxed when I came back, definitely had his needs met. Razelle was on time and took Lots of pictures and left details. She even handed out the puzzle toys for my dog.

Once again! Great job Razelle!!
