Availability
Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I’m currently home full-time. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, timely meals, enrichment, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I structure my days around the pets in my care, adjusting to their normal schedules as closely as possible. Whether that means early morning walks, midday play sessions, medication timing, or quiet rest periods, I’m flexible and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Because I don’t juggle pet sitting around a separate full-time job, your pet isn’t left alone for long stretches. My weekly routine is intentionally open, making it easy for me to accommodate longer stays, last-minute requests, puppies, seniors, and pets that need extra attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I take a calm, attentive, and proactive approach to ensure each pet’s well-being. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended outdoors. While my backyard is large but not fully fenced, all outdoor time is done on leash or under direct supervision, depending on the pet’s comfort level and owner preference. This allows pets to safely enjoy fresh air and movement without risk. I’m careful to pet-proof spaces, keep doors and gates secure, and follow household rules and routines closely. In a client’s home, I respect the space as if it were my own and follow all care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medications, and any safety preferences. I’m attentive to pet body language and behavior, especially with new environments or routines, and I prioritize low-stress handling and positive reinforcement. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins so you feel confident your pet is safe and comfortable. My goal is to create a secure, calm environment where your pet feels protected, respected, and cared for at all times.

A typical day
A typical day is structured around your pet’s normal routine, with plenty of flexibility for their energy level and personality. Mornings usually start with potty breaks or litter box checks, breakfast, and some gentle movement or play to ease into the day. Throughout the day, pets enjoy regular outdoor breaks, play sessions, enrichment activities, and companionship. This might include walks, backyard sniff time (always supervised), interactive toys, puzzle feeders, training reinforcement for puppies, or quiet cuddle time for pets who prefer a calmer pace. For cats, the day includes play with wand toys or lasers, cozy nap spots, window watching, and one-on-one attention — or respectful space, if that’s what they prefer. Litter boxes are kept clean and monitored, and meals are given on schedule. Evenings are more relaxed, with dinner, another round of play or walks, and wind-down time so pets feel calm and settled. Because I’m home full-time, pets are never rushed and are rarely left alone, allowing for consistent attention, reassurance, and affection. My goal is for your pet’s day to feel familiar, enriching, and stress-free — filled with care, comfort, and a little fun along the way.

Home Full-Time Pet Care
Pet care experience
I bring many years of hands-on animal care experience, both professionally and personally. I’ve worked in animal care and management roles for nearly a decade, where I was responsible for daily husbandry, health monitoring, medication administration, enrichment, and individualized care plans for pets of all temperaments and needs. I’m especially comfortable caring for senior pets, anxious pets, and animals with medical or behavioral considerations. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and take a proactive, calm approach to ensure pets feel safe and supported. I also have experience with puppies, including reinforcing potty routines, basic training, and providing structure while keeping things positive and stress-free. Because I’m currently home full-time, your pet receives consistent supervision, companionship, and enrichment throughout the day — not just drop-ins between other commitments. I treat every pet as an individual, adapting my care to their personality, routine, and comfort level. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and notes so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is always the same: to make your pet feel secure, loved, and truly cared for in your absence.
