When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to maintain a calm, loving, and familiar environment that keeps them comfortable while their owners are away. I follow their established routine—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any special care needs—to ensure they feel safe and stress-free. I also make sure to give them plenty of attention, belly rubs (if they enjoy them!), and mental stimulation to keep them happy. Respecting your home is just as important to me as caring for your pet, so I always leave everything clean and tidy, making sure their food bowls, litter boxes, and play areas are well-maintained. Lahey and Xena have been a huge part of my life for the past 13 years, and I’ve always prioritized their happiness and well-being. I ensure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and proper nutrition while also giving them the space they need to relax. They love long walks, interactive play, and, of course, plenty of snuggles! Over the years, I’ve learned how to read their body language, understand their unique personalities, and cater to their needs, whether that means giving them space or engaging in active play.
