Excited to meet other dogs!
Born and raised in Vancouver. I’m a working professional in the Brentwood, Burnaby neighborhood. I live alone in my apartment that I own. My last dog, Carrie sadly passed away from old age in 2022 after happily living for 14.5 years. I do not presently have my own animal. With my new job, unfortunately it doesn’t allow me to be at home as much as I would like to be to care for another dog. Therefore, I’m using this opportunity on Rover to spend quality time with other dogs. I’m truly a dog person.. I love dogs more than I like people! My favourite movie growing up was Air Bud and I always wanted a dog ever since. I think about dogs too often for someone who currently doesn’t have a pet! I am hoping to meet some of your dogs in the neighborhood. I live close to a couple of dog parks, as well as large grass areas near by my home. I also own a car and can drive if necessary.

I was hesitant to leave my dog with someone who didn’t know him, but felt instantly at ease with Raymond. I don’t have my dog around other dogs very often as we walk him early morning and late evening, and I have a second dog he plays with during the day that was being looked after by a friend. I’ve realized it’s to his detriment, as he barks at other dogs and doesn’t behave! It’s a challenge and we will work on that going forward! Raymond was great! He loves dogs and it shows! Raymond was great! This was the first time for my dog to be with a caretaker and he did such a great job. So understanding of her preferred schedule and temperament. I can't wait to book again!

Schedule
I am primarily available weekends and evenings. Tuesdays/ Wednesdays are my work from office days, but I may be flexible to shift my in-office days.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is always clean and tidy free from any food debris or dangerous objects on the floor that an animal can get to. So that’s chocolate, garlic, etc. As well, toxic plants will be put away ahead of time during time of care of your animal.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog to the dog park. There are a couple of fenced dog parks near my neighbourhood. As well as many large grassy areas.
