I have been around dogs from birth and spent much time looking after my parents collie which included long country walks, feeding and grooming. When I met my partner Jo later on, we got ourselves a large house with a fenced off garden, and not long after, we adopted our first rescue dog, Ben, a springer spaniel. Unfortunately due to health issues, we did not have Ben very long, but we made sure he had a good, happy life. Some time later, we adopted another rescue dog, Bonnie, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. We quickly found that Bonnie was not settling well and required the company of another dog so we then adopted Amity, a springer spaniel, as a companion. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after our 3 dogs with walks, feeding, administering medication when needed, and tending to any other needs. Our dogs always came first, were very much part of the family, and had happy lives and a home where they were loved. Sadly, all our dogs have now passed away but we still want to offer up our home to other people's dogs and look after them just as much as we did with our dogs.
