Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently a culinary arts student at SSC with in-person classes Monday through Thursday from 8am–2pm and online classes on Fridays. This schedule gives me plenty of flexibility and makes me a great fit for house sitting and consistent pet care. Outside of class hours, my time is fully available for feeding, playtime, walks, check-ins, and giving pets the attention they need. As a cat dad and longtime animal owner, caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. I enjoy spending time with pets, keeping their routines consistent, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. As a longtime animal owner and cat dad, I’m very familiar with maintaining a calm, pet-friendly environment and respecting each animal’s routine and boundaries. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, and receive the attention they need to stay happy and healthy. I’m attentive and patient, which helps me notice changes in behavior and respond quickly to keep pets safe and comfortable. I also enjoy interacting and playing with pets so they feel relaxed and engaged rather than stressed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and aim to provide a warm, trustworthy presence. My goal is to make pets feel secure and cared for—like they’re on their own little vacation—while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in safe, loving hands.
Information Raymond A. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to know about their behavior, temperament, and energy level, including how they do with new people, other pets, and being alone. Information about allergies, fears, triggers, or special comforts (favorite toys, sleeping spots, or commands) is very helpful. Knowing their vet information, emergency contacts, and house rules ahead of time allows me to provide safe, consistent, and stress-free care while keeping your pet happy and comfortable.
A typical day
On a typical day, I make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and part of my routine. I start mornings with feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and some light play or a walk to help them start the day calm and happy. Since I’m in class Monday–Thursday from 8am–2pm and online on Fridays, I’m able to plan my schedule around pets’ needs and provide consistent check-ins, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Afternoons and evenings are dedicated to longer walks, playtime, feeding, and quiet time to relax, ensuring pets feel safe and settled. I always follow each pet’s specific routine and instructions to keep things familiar and stress-free. I love keeping pets engaged in ways that match their personality and energy level. This includes walks and outdoor time, interactive play like fetch or tug, enrichment games, and basic training reinforcement if requested. For more relaxed pets, I enjoy calm activities like cuddling, brushing, or just keeping them company. Whether a pet is energetic or laid-back, I focus on making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience and genuine love for animals. I’m a proud cat dad of two, and my household has cared for up to five cats at a time, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve also owned three dogs, giving me experience with both small and large pets and the attention they require. I truly enjoy spending time playing with animals and making sure they stay healthy, happy, and comfortable. I’m slightly introverted, which means I’m patient, attentive, and calm—qualities that help pets feel safe and relaxed. As a current culinary arts student at SSC, I’m dedicated, responsible, and detail-oriented, and I bring that same care into pet sitting. I aim to give every pet a fun, stress-free experience so it feels like their own little vacation while their owners are away. I take pride in providing a warm, trustworthy presence and making sure pets are always safe, loved, and well cared for.
