I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had family dogs growing up and had a dog of my own in my early twenties, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Around 2020, friends and coworkers started asking me to house sit while they traveled, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy caring for other people’s homes and especially thier pets. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities... from tiny Chihuahuas and miniature Poodles to Huskies, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans. I’ve also spent some time with cats, hamsters, bunnies, and lizards. Unfortunately I have retired for caring for cats due to allergies. I know that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, some love long walks, and others just want someone cuddles. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’ve even helped reinforce basic training, taught a few fun tricks, and worked on some very simple behavioral habits when owners have appreciated. I believe consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement go a long way. When your dog is with me, they’ll be treated like my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your best friend is getting plenty of attention, exercise, affection, care until you’re back home.
