Information Raye M. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate as much detail as you're comfortable sharing ahead of time. The more I know, the smoother and happier their stay will be. Here's what helps me most: Basic info: Age, breed, weight, spayed/neutered status, and any microchip details. Health & medical: Current medications (dosage and schedule), allergies (food, environmental, or medication), any ongoing conditions (e.g., arthritis, anxiety, diabetes), and your vet's contact info. I'm comfortable administering meds, including injections if needed. Diet: What food they eat, portion sizes, feeding schedule, and any treats they're allowed (or should avoid). Please let me know if they have a sensitive stomach or food sensitivities. Personality & behavior: How they get along with other dogs, cats, people, or children. Any fears (thunder, vacuum, strangers)? Triggers for reactivity or resource guarding? Favorite games, toys, or activities? Routine: Typical daily schedule (mealtimes, walk length, potty habits), preferred sleeping spot, and any commands they know well. Special needs or quirks: Separation anxiety level, escape tendencies, thunderstorm protocols, or anything unique (e.g., loves car rides, hates nail trims, needs a cone sometimes). Emergency preferences: Your instructions if something unexpected happens—who to contact first, preferred emergency vet, and any treatment limits.
A typical day
Typical Daily Routine for Dogs in My Care (Adjusted based on your dog's age, energy level, and needs—I'm always home, so they're never alone!) Morning (7-9 AM): Wake-up potty break in the yard, followed by breakfast. Then, a refreshing morning walk to explore the nearby forest trails—perfect for sniffing, adventure, and exercise! Mid-Morning (10 AM - Noon): Playtime! Fetch, toys, tug-of-war, or whatever games your pup loves. Plenty of interaction and fun to burn energy. Afternoon (Noon - 3 PM): Lunch (if needed), followed by relaxed downtime with lots of cuddles on the couch, belly rubs, or just hanging out together. I'm here all day for good company and supervision. Late Afternoon (3-6 PM): Another invigorating forest trail walk for exploration and fresh air, plus more structured play or gentle training to reinforce good habits. Evening (6-8 PM): Dinner, a shorter evening potty walk or yard time, then wind-down with more play, cuddles, and companionship. Night (8 PM onward): Cozy bedtime routine—settled in a comfy spot near me for a peaceful night's sleep. Overnight, I'm always home for any needs.

Hi, I'm a dedicated and experienced animal care provider, with formal training from the Veterinary Assistant program at Algonquin College. I've gained hands-on experience working at respected animal hospitals, including the Ottawa Humane Society, Montreal Rd Animal Hospital, and Orleans Veterinary Hospital. I live in Golden, BC now and am loving mountain life. Your pets will thrive in my loving, family-style home environment—I'm a stay-at-home sitter, so they're never alone. I can keep them company all day or take them along on outings for extra fun and socialization. I specialize in positive reinforcement training to help dogs develop gentle temperaments and good manners. I'm also comfortable with feeding farm animals, offering basic care, and farm check-ins. Overnight boarding is designed to feel like a vacation for your furry friends: cozy, stress-free, and full of attention. Cats enjoy private rooms with cat trees, toys, and plenty of treats, while dogs get regular walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles. Whether it's dogs, cats, horses, or farm animals, I treat every pet like family. Can't wait to meet yours!"
Reviews

Raye took such great care of our dog. Daisy struggles making friends with other dogs, but Raye made sure that she got some fun and safe play doggy dates! And Raye made sure to send pictures throughout the day, keeping us posted on the fun. She had the best of time!

Absolutely amazing service. Raye was great and the boys Absolutely loved their day. We received pictures of them playing and out on walks. Would highly recommend and will definitely get in touch again. Thanks so much Raye. Ollie, Kristen, Disco and Dezmond

Raye was absolutely amazing. It was our dog willows second time going to doggie daycare. And she had an amazing time. She had a super fun filled day with rare and all her animal friends. Thankyou for taking great care of our little girl.

Raye has such a gentle disposition, lots of love and kindness for my crazy puppies. I felt very comfortable leaving them with her. It is also evident she has lots of experience so I felt confident she could keep these girls well-behaved. She kept them very active, returning 2 tired doggies! I will definitely use her again.
