Pet care is the focus of my daily routine. I’m home full time and offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible to better accommodate each family’s schedule. Every day is shaped around the dogs in my care. I adjust feeding, playtime, outdoor breaks, rest, and individual attention based on each dog’s age, energy level, personality, and routine. Some dogs prefer a quieter pace with more rest, while others enjoy frequent play and activity. My goal is to keep each dog comfortable, engaged, and well cared for throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety, comfort, and cleanliness are central to how I care for every dog. My large fenced yard includes anti-dig protection, giving dogs a secure space to explore, play, and take outdoor breaks. Dogs are supervised closely, and I communicate promptly if I have any questions or concerns during their stay. I keep my home and pet-care areas clean, organized, and well maintained. Kennels, bedding, bowls, and frequently used surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between stays to help provide a healthy, comfortable environment. My goal is to create a calm, positive experience where each dog feels secure and well cared for. I adjust supervision, activity, rest, and handling based on the dog’s age, personality, energy level, and individual needs.

A typical day
A typical day includes a balance of outdoor play, indoor rest, and individual attention. Dogs can enjoy supervised playtime in the spacious, fully fenced backyard, whether they prefer running, exploring, sunbathing, or playing with compatible dogs. Dogs who are comfortable using the dog door may move between the house and yard during supervised periods. The covered porch provides a shaded place to relax and stay dry during light rain, while the indoor areas offer comfortable spots for naps, quiet time, and cooler breaks. I adjust the day to each dog’s age, energy level, and personality. Active dogs may enjoy more play and social time, while seniors and quieter dogs are given a calmer space to rest. Every dog receives regular supervision, affection, outdoor breaks, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. The goal is a comfortable routine with the right balance of play, rest, and companionship.

Pet care experience
I provide full-time, in-home boarding and daycare in a calm environment with a large fenced yard. Since 2014, I’ve cared for more than 700 dogs, including puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and dogs with special needs. Your dog will stay in a safe, clean, and comfortable home with supervised access to the fenced yard, plenty of toys, fresh water, rest, and individual attention. My home and pet-care areas are kept clean and well maintained. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, personalities, and care needs. Please share any medical, behavioral, mobility, feeding, or medication concerns before booking so I can make sure I’m the right fit for your dog. Mini home tours are available Monday through Thursday so you can see where your dog will stay. Fridays through Sundays are reserved for caring for current guests, so tours are not available during that time. To keep arrivals calm and reduce doorway excitement, I meet families outside and personally guide each dog into the home. Communication is important to me. I’ll send regular updates, photos, and notes so you know how your dog is doing throughout the stay. Dogs often have more activity and stimulation here than they do at home, so they may be extra tired or thirsty after a busy day of play. That is typically normal after an active stay.
Reviews

Ray takes great care of our pup while we are away!

Ray is friendly, knowledgable, and exactly who you would want to take care of your fur babies! It always puts us at ease on trips knowing our dog is in good hands.

Ray kept Benjamin for us while we were on vacation and I didn’t have a care in the world! I knew he was at his “home away from home”!

Our three dogs stayed with Ray for a week while we were on vacation. Ray way very flexible and helpful with booking and drop off/pickup. He was good at staying in touch and responding. One dog was having some hot spots and itching a lot. Ray let me know and offered to use some of his own anti itch cream for relief. Would use him again!
