Since my classes are mostly online, I’m home often—and that means your fur baby won’t be left alone or feeling bored. My daily and weekly routines are carefully structured to prioritize the well-being of the pets I care for. Each day involves dedicated time for feeding, exercise, play, and companionship.

I like to come prepared, so please let me know anything you think matters—even the little things, like if they prefer their food warmed or if they have a favorite bedtime toy. Or any other information you think may be pertinent in advance so I can care for your pet in a way that best suits their needs. I don’t have breed preferences, and I’m open to working with pets who have special needs or behavioral quirks. Just keep me in the loop, and we’ll make it a calm, happy experience for your furry companions.
A typical day
While I don’t have a yard, I live in a large, very pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of large grassy areas and trees, and a couple of fenced-in dog parks on-site—perfect for play and potty breaks. And they include a water fountain with a built-in doggie bowl and lots of room to run around and play. The complex has lots of space for walks and runs. And since so many tenants here have dogs there's ample opportunity to run into and say "hi" and visit with other pups. There’s also a large off-leash dog park and beautiful hiking trails just 2 minutes down the street that I love exploring with pups who enjoy the outdoors. So there’s lots of new scents to explore and room to run around.

Hi! I’ve had a huge soft spot for animals my whole life, I wanted to be a zoologist as a kid. When I was 8, my first pet was a black kitten named Midnight, and my love for animals grew even more. My extensive experience has equipped me with the skills to handle different personalities and specific needs of each pet. I’ve grown up around dogs, and caring for animals comes naturally to me. I’ve also fostered kittens, raised cats of my own, and even cared for fish and small exotics—so I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. I’m very attentive to body language, changes in behavior, or anything that might feel “off,” and I always communicate with pet parents if something needs extra attention.

Rashel was great! She worked with me through some rigmarole after another sitter had to cancel. She was early and communicative, my two favorite things. My puppy was happy to have her watching him. Definitely recommend.

Rachel kept our two dogs (one and five) while we were on vacation for a couple days. She was very responsive on Rover before and during her stay. The dogs were very comfy at her place. It was their first stay with her so the pics and vids sent helped assure us they were in good hands. Will definitely rebook!
