I like to do an initial meet up with the pet and owner present so the pet can get a sense of what to expect from the exchange/ relationship and to learn more about the dog/ cat from their owners perspective in real time.

Pet care experience
For 5 years I house-sat 2 dogs (1 medium Pit mix and 1 small but chunky chihuahua mix) and 2 cats (all in one home) often for a few days at a time. I've had a family dog my entire life (a Maltese and later a Blue Pitbull) as well as 1 of my own while living alone (a Pit-Greyhound mix). I am interested in fostering sick or alternatively-abled dogs although I have not yet had the opportunity. I love dogs and cats of all sizes and have been pet sitting for 10 years.

Raquel was absolutely amazing in taking care of my dog. My dog is shy and is anxious when we leave her and Raquel was so patient and calm with her. She was able to make my dog feel so comfortable where we felt comfortable enough to let her be boarded overnight. You will not go wrong with selecting Raquel to care of your beloved fur baby!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Raquel! We will be scheduling with you again.
Raquel was a GREAT sitter. This was our first time
Raquel is officially a part of my family! She babysit my 45lbs pitbull for 6 days and let me tell ya she delivered more than she promised! She updated me with text and photos and videos all day everyday and even collected fans for my dog on her Instagram. She is very vocal about any question regarding the dog and I really appreciate that. She took notes of feeding and walking schedule and was able to meet my inconvenient drop off and pick up schedule (Try 2AM and 6AM) All in all, my lil pittie gained weight, made her the best auntie ever, and will definitely be seeing her again on my next business trip.
Both our medium/large pit bull mix and our little 13-pound chihuahua mix love Raquel, and so do we! She is 100% dependable and is a great dog walker and caretaker. Highly recommended her services!
