I wake up around 7/8am, I can guarantee a minimum of 3walks a day. I am usually home, with the exception of running errands or the odd get together with friends. If there are times outside my availability, feel free to ask. I try to update the calendar, but I can also make exceptions and be a bit more flexible.

Please let me know if your dog has any - behavioural concerns: resource hoarding, issues around other dogs/people, biting history - medical concerns - treats/foods to avoid or any other specifics - triggers or anxieties (animals, people, environments to avoid) If they are staying overnight, I am interested to know what their adjustment is like to new surroundings and typically how long it takes them to get settled in (what to expect behaviour-wise, if they sleep through the night, cry in their crate). Strategies to make them ease into the space as easy as possible.
A typical day
I can commit to 20min-1hr walks 3-4 times a day. My condo has a private off leash turf area at my condo that I can supplement walks with to play fetch (it is normally empty). I normally ask for your typical routine, and will do my best to model after that - to keep your pup on a routine. I love playing fetch, going on long walks/jogs/hikes, off leash dog parks (if you are okay with it). My favourite places near me are the OCAD park, walk along Lakeshore, Sherwood park and any place in the city. I like to use dog-appropriate routes (away from high traffic/loud areas).

Self proclaimed champion of ear scratches and belly rubs. I have many years of experience with various dog breeds, ages, sizes, fostering, high and low energy pups, administering oral medications. My partner and I can take care of your pup as long as they can be left alone 2-4hrs as my schedule and his may not overlap perfectly depending on the day. Dogs with separation anxiety may not be a good fit, but we are happy to chat to see if our schedule works out so we can accommodate. I am very active, so I love going on long walks, hikes, runs and off leash parks (if you agree to that). The safety of your pup and their overall enjoyment is my priority. I would love to do a quick meet and greet to learn more about your pup, your schedule, and how to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. I love to send daily photo/video “pupdates” and to let you know what we are up to while you are away.

Raquel and Howard are simply the best pet sitters. As always, they took wonderful care of my dog, and she was completely enchanted with them. She is always so happy, comfortable, and relaxed in their care, which gives me complete peace of mind. They are attentive, caring, reliable, and clearly treat her as if she were their own.
