I've taken care of cats and dogs over the years since I was a child. I have done drop in visits, boarded dogs and am good with following rules/directions from the owner. I have had dogs my whole life! I also was in 4-H and have trained dogs. I know some tricks to teach your dog. But mainly my role on rover is, I want your dog to think of my home as a sanctuary and have them have fun and feel loved on their get away. I have always loved animals and they are in safe hands. I have 2 fur babys as well, a pug and a brussel griffon who love dogs and love to play.

We’ve had such a great experience with Raquel! She has both boarded our dog and stayed at our house to care for her, and we’ve always felt completely comfortable knowing she’s in great hands. She communicates well, sends lots of photos and updates, and loves taking the dogs on walks. Her dogs are also wonderful, and our dog always seems happy and comfortable with them. When she has stayed at our house, she left everything just as she found it. We definitely trust her and highly recommend her!
I have seen Raquel the way she loves her dogs, and she is a DOG LOVER, let me tell you. She loves them dearly. She has boarded my dog Votto before a couple times for a week. She played with him a lot, and took him on a lot of walks, fed him twice a day. My dog loves to run back and fourth in her big back yard that is fenced. She will send pictures too when the dog is in her care. Her work schedule is flexible and she will make your dog feels right at home. She even lets him sleep in the bed with her. Also her dogs are adorable and my dog had the best time with them. I trust her 1000%

Schedule
My schedule is extremely flexible being a small business owner. I never leave the house for work until 9:30 am or later in the day. I am up at 6 am for my dogs. I have lunch break to come check on the pups and work close by to come home for breaks. Since my business is appointment based, I only work when I have appointments booked in my calander. I also will block out time to go check on the dogs. I always am off work Sundays and Mondays and occasional Saturdays.

I have a big fenced yard. I can crate your dog if needed when I am not home. I also have a pug and brussel griffon to keep them company who love other dogs. :)
