Trusted Care When You’re Not There
Pet Care Experience 🐾 I recently moved to Winter Park, Florida from Springfield, Missouri, where I owned and operated my own in-home dog-sitting business for several years. During that time, I had the privilege of caring for hundreds of dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities and building wonderful, long-term relationships with their families. Since my recent move to Florida, I’m no longer able to offer boarding in my home, but I’m excited to continue doing what I love through drop-in visits and dog walking throughout Winter Park and surrounding areas. My years of boarding experience taught me so much about dogs—not only how different every dog’s personality and needs can be, but also how important trust and communication are for their owners. I have experience with a wide variety of temperaments and am especially comfortable with dogs who experience separation anxiety or need some extra patience, reassurance, and attention. I also understand that sometimes the pet parent needs a little reassurance too! 😊 I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pup in someone else’s care, especially for the first time. I make communication a priority and am happy to provide updates, pictures, and videos so you can feel confident knowing your pup is safe, comfortable, and being well cared for. During drop-in visits, I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love and attention. When walking your dog, my focus is on providing safe, enjoyable exercise while giving them the individual attention they need. I can also provide baths as an additional service for certain breeds, depending on their coat and grooming needs, so just ask if that’s something you’d like! I strongly encourage meet-and-greets before your first booking. It gives your pup a chance to get comfortable with me and gives us an opportunity to go over their routine, personality, preferences, and any special instructions. Although I may be new to Winter Park and the surrounding area, I’m certainly not new to caring for dogs. I look forward to building the same kind of trusted relationships with pups and their families here in Central Florida that I was fortunate to have in Missouri. My goal is simple: happy pups, dependable care, and peace of mind for their people. 🐶❤️

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your instructions and established routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I’m very attentive to doors, gates, leashes, surroundings, and any potential safety concerns. For walks, I’m mindful of other dogs, people, traffic, weather, and your pup’s individual temperament and comfort level. If your dog has any triggers, anxieties, special needs, or behaviors I should be aware of, please let me know so I can adjust their care accordingly. I also understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home. I will always treat your home, your belongings, and most importantly, your pup with care and respect.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m happy to work with your pup’s normal routine whenever possible, whether they need a midday walk, potty break, feeding, playtime, or some extra love and companionship while you’re away. I currently serve Winter Park and surrounding areas and am happy to discuss scheduling needs to see what works best for you and your pup!

- Please tell me anything that will help me get to know your pup and care for them safely! I’d like to know about their personality, normal routine, feeding schedule, medications or special needs, and any fears, anxieties, allergies, or health considerations I should be aware of. For walks, please let me know how they typically behave on a leash and how they respond to other dogs, people, children, bicycles, wildlife, or anything else we might encounter. I also love learning about the little things that make your pup happy—their favorite toys, treats, games, walking routes, and even their funny quirks! The more I know, the more I can make their time with me feel familiar and comfortable. ❤️🐾 For the safety and comfort of your dog, myself, and others, I do have a couple of important guidelines. If your dog has a history of aggression toward other dogs, I’m unable to take them on walks in public areas where we may encounter other pets. However, I’m happy to provide exercise, enrichment, playtime, and plenty of attention in the safety of their own home or a secure backyard instead. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people, unfortunately we will not be a good fit. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs with a wide variety of personalities, I am not a dog trainer or behaviorist and am not equipped to safely manage human-directed aggression. I kindly ask that any known history of aggressive behavior be disclosed before booking.
