I’ve loved, enjoyed & taken care of different breeds of dogs since I was a child. I’m currently in grooming school and I provide baths for your pup during their stay, as an additional service, so they can go home nice and clean (certain breeds depending on their coat). I am a volunteer with Rescue One, and I signed up to foster pups who have been surrendered or rescued and are waiting to be adopted. I have experience and understand well dogs that suffer from separation anxiety. Making their stay comfortable is a priority and keeping parents informed with updates, pictures, and videos to reassure their pup is being loved on and their anxiety is set at ease. I especially understand and cater to pups and parents whom have never been apart before. It can be nerve racking for pup and parent and setting an environment and communication is what I provide to make pup/parents first time a breeze. I encourage meet and greets before a stay to make sure parents and pups are comfortable.

Raquel treats your pups like her own. I started taking my young pup to her while I am at work a couple of days a week, and each time Murph comes home she seems full of love and ready to sleep from all of the playing! Every morning when we drive up to Raquel’s house Murph cannot get to her front door fast enough… she gets so excited to play with Raquel and her four legged friends! Thank you Raquel for treating my girl like your own!

Schedule
I pet sit from my home full time so your pup will get lots of love and attention! Lots of play time in the backyard and fun walks at the park!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, and pups are welcome to be free in the house. If needed or preferred by the pup parent, I have Great Dane sized kennels that provide safety and and ample room for comfort. I am especially vigilant in the behavior of pups interaction with other pups. Safety is a priority and if at any point I feel your pup is nervous or uncomfortable with another pup, I have the set up to keep them separated yet still having fun! Whatever your pups needs are, I can accommodate.

A typical day
I love to make time for play and exercise, I have a nice size fenced yard to play in and I live near nathanael greene park. On weekends we enjoy taking a little road trip to busiek state park for a nice hike. Don’t worry if that’s not your pups thing we can always just stay at the house and simply relax. ☺️
