We had a family emergency and had to fly out and didn’t know what to do with our pups. Was so grateful to find Raquel so last minute. Raquel took amazing care of my two dogs, a Beagle and a Basset Hound, while I was away. One of my dogs is a strong puller on walks, but Raquel handled her with patience and confidence. Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to focus on the pets I’m caring for. I structure my day to make sure pets get consistent attention—morning walks, feeding, playtime, and regular check-ins throughout the day. I’m very organized and make sure I’m not overbooked, so every pet gets the time, care, and attention they deserve. Whether it’s sticking to a specific routine or providing updates to owners, I make it a priority to be reliable and attentive.

When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. I have a fully fenced patio where dogs can get fresh air and supervised outdoor time, and I also have a friendly, well-behaved dog who loves having company and helps keep your fur baby social and entertained. I stick closely to each pet’s routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime so they feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your exact instructions for feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and routines, while also giving plenty of attention, play, and companionship. I treat every home with respect and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
I love keeping pets physically and mentally stimulated while making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. For dogs, we’ll play lots of games, go on engaging walks, check out new smells around the neighbourhood, and explore a big park near my house for extra exercise and enrichment. I also enjoy reinforcing basic commands and routines during playtime and walks. For cats, I love interactive play with toys, laser games, brushing, and giving them attention at their own pace. Every pet gets plenty of affection, fun, and personalized care based on their personality and energy level.
