I grew up with dogs and cats and genuinely don’t remember a time when animals weren’t part of my life! I started house-sitting for fellow military families when I was 16, which taught me early on how important it is to respect routines, homes, and the deep trust people place in someone caring for their pets 🫶🏼 I’m a sensitive, intuitive, and I pay close attention to each animal’s cues. I’m especially gentle with pets who need time to warm up, prefer their space at first, or experience separation anxiety. I’m happy to meet animals where they are, whether that’s instant best-friend energy or a slow, steady build of trust. I’ve cared for pets across all life stages, from puppies to senior pets who need extra patience, structure, and care. One of my closest friends is a certified dog trainer, and I’ve learned a lot through him (and his dog) about behavior, communication, and creating calm, consistent environments for dogs. I’d love to be a steady, loving presence so your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away!

Raquel was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Gracie and Rowdy! From the start, her communication was excellent—she kept us updated regularly and sent lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She is incredibly sweet and clearly has a natural connection with animals. She bonded with both dogs right away and took the time to really understand their individual personalities and little quirks. It was obvious they felt comfortable and cared for in her presence. One of our dogs was dealing with some pretty bad allergies during her stay, and Raquel truly went above and beyond to keep him comfortable. She was attentive, thoughtful, and kept us informed every step of the way, which we appreciated so much. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would hire her again and again without hesitation. Highly recommend Raquel to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dedicated!

Raquel was fantastic with our three cats! I can usually tell if my cats were stressed after a trip, but with Raquel were chill and relaxed when we returned. She sang to them, took care of them, and made sure they had all the attention they needed. There were also some extenuating circumstances with the house that Raquel went above and beyond to help figure out while we were gone. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived back home too! 10/10 would have her sit again!

Schedule
I am currently working remotely and have a very flexible schedule, for both weekdays and weekends! I do have a few delivery hours on certain days where I’m out and about, but I should be more than able to work around your and your pet’s schedules!
