I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a cat and learned early on how special the bond with a pet can be. That love has only grown, and caring for pets now feels like second nature to me.

I work remotely from 4 p.m. to midnight, five days a week, which gives me a lot of flexibility to be there for your pets during the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, or just hanging out and keeping them company, I make sure they get all the attention and care they need while you’re away. I always do my best to follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine just the way they like it. My goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

It really helps to know as much as possible about your pet ahead of time so I can make them feel totally comfortable and cared for. Things like their daily routine, favorite toys or treats, any quirks or fears, and how they usually behave with new people or other animals are super helpful. I’d also love to know about any health issues, medications, allergies, or special instructions—no detail is too small! Whether they love belly rubs or prefer their space, I want to make sure I’m giving them the best care in the way that suits them best. The more I know, the more I can make their time with me feel just like home.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to get to know their personality and what makes them happiest! For playful pups, I love going on walks, playing fetch, or having little backyard adventures. If they enjoy learning, we can practice tricks or do some fun training games. For the more relaxed types, I’m always up for cozy cuddle time, gentle brushing, or just hanging out together. With cats, I’ll follow their lead—whether it’s chasing toys, exploring new spots, or simply chilling in a sunny window. I make sure they get plenty of love and attention in a way that feels natural and fun for them. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and entertained while you’re away!

Raquel was honestly amazing! She watched my dog Lambo and house sat for a week, and I felt totally at ease the whole time. She sent tons of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated, and it was so clear that Lambo was super happy with her. She took him on long walks, gave him lots of love and attention, and just overall did such a great job. I came home to a happy dog and everything in great shape. I’d definitely book her again and highly recommend her!
My dog is very shy but Raquel was able to bond enough to be able to take her to the dog park. Raquel kept us up to date the whole time, sending photos. We came home to a happy doggie and clean place.
My dog Penny was comfortable with Raquel almost immediately! Raquel was so sweet with her and asked lots of questions so that she could get to know Penny’s preferences. She was very communicative and flexible in planning our day and time for them to meet. We will be booking with her again!
