Safety, trust & environment

Caring for pets is a matter of safety and precautions. Ensuring the fence is always gated and closed when prior to letting the pets outside. Always lock the doors, and make sure you don’t step outside without the key, just in case the doorknob is the type that can lock behind you. Lastly, do one last check. Particularly with walks and drop-in visits, dogs spend a good amount of time alone in the home. Walk through the area the dog will stay in and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crates set up are secure.

Information Randy S. would like to know about your pet

Things to know about a dog is allergies, eating time, how often do they potty and if they have a certain type of sleeping ritual. I would also ask what is their favorite toy and snacks.

A typical day

Bored dogs get in trouble. It is crucial to keep them active for one. For one, a game of tug war will win among most dogs. Secondly, a close by dog park isn't a bad idea either.

My wife and I booked Randy to house-sit and watch our 50 lb. retriever mix while we were on vacation for 8 days. He was a very good and friendly communicator and sent us text and picture/video updates during our trip to let us know how our dog was doing. We came home and everything was just as we left it -- including the pup! I will definitely be contacting Randy next time I need someone to watch our dog :)

Randy was flexible to accommodate my last minute booking request for house sitting-the night before. However, he missed the virtual meet and greet that was scheduled for the morning of the booked stay, and did not respond to my messages in a timely manner. I wasn’t able to confirm if he was still available until the very last minute, which resulted in me not knowing whether I would be able to go to work, as my dog cannot be left home alone at this time. This was very stressful for me and I ended up being late to work. However, once Randy arrived he was friendly and caring towards my dog and was gracious about being at my house without AC on a very hot day.

Randy was exceptional. He went above and beyond making sure Za was ok and received as much love and attention as we would give her while we were away. I will definitely be booking Randy again.

Randy is no ordinary dog sitter, he is the epitome of love and care when it comes to looking after pets. He understands the bond that pets have with their owners, and he makes sure to extend that love to the pets whenever their owners are away. Randy is always eager to know more about the pets he'll be taking care of, their likes, and dislikes, so that he can make sure they feel comfortable and safe in his care. Randy makes sure that he feeds the pets on time and plays with them every day. He walks them outside and makes sure they get enough exercise and fresh air. Randy goes above and beyond to keep pets happy and secure. He is patient and attentive to their needs, giving the pets ample attention and affection. Randy understands that pets are not just animals; they're part of the family, and he treats them as such. Therefore, Randy is the most loving and caring dog sitter.
