I am recently retired so I have a very flexible schedule for dog walking, mid-day potty breaks/play time, or house sitting. I can often take same day requests.

About Randy P.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I follow all instructions given and I am very good at communicating via text if any questions arise, or if you just want a quick photo of your fur baby. I am extremely trustworthy and reliable. My past career in information technology project management has made me very organized, punctual, and detail oriented.
Information Randy P. would like to know about your pet
The more I know about your pet ahead of time the better, and it's often very helpful if we all meet to make sure your pet is comfortable and sees me as part of the pack. If you trust me, your pet will too!
A typical day
I match appropriate activities with the needs and preferences of each animal, plus input from the parents of course. If appropriate and approved, I also love taking dogs to the dog park.

Can I pet your dog?
Pet care experience
I have owned and loved dogs my whole life, and really just love animals in general. I volunteer at the Nevada Humane Society and have completed "Fear Free" training. I have experience with senior dogs and understand their needs and limitations. I will be sure to follow all instructions and love your fur babies as much as you do. I recently retired and now have time to pet all the dogs!

Reviews

Randy takes great care of our dogs and we don't have a care in the world that they're being looked after. Randy is great at communicating and letting us know how they're doing. Very responsible. He's Gracie & Loki's first choice in sitters!

We couldn't be happier with our first experience using Randy as our pet sitter. We arranged a meet and greet before our trip — and our two Boxers (who have no shortage of energy) took to him immediately. He was at ease with them which gave us confidence that he wouldn't have any issues. Randy stayed at our home for 6 days and kept us in the loop with frequent updates throughout. Knowing our pups were in good hands made it much easier to enjoy our trip. When we came home, the house was exactly as we left it and doggies were happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. If you have high-energy dogs and need someone who can keep up, Randy can do it. We've already scheduled another stay for our next vacation.
Randy is such a kind soul. My dogs get so excited when he is around. Both of my dogs are elderly, and Randy gives them just the right amount of attention to keep them active and happy. Instead of my name, I should sign this from "Mabel and Riker".
Randy is one of those people dogs naturally seem to trust. He truly loves dogs, and now that he’s retired, he has the extra time to give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care. He is warm, reliable, and patient, and I know he would treat every dog like family. I would absolutely feel comfortable leaving a pet with him, knowing they would be safe, happy, and well cared for.
