Loving and caring for animals is truly my life and I do not take lightly the trust you put in me to make sure yours are loved and safe while you are away! I am comfortable giving meds whether oral or injection and I am also comfortable following a strict diet with any add ons/supplements etc. *This is my full time job so I am home during most of each day so all fur kids will rarely be left alone. This also allows me to be reliable to keep a fairly consistent schedule. I am almost always available and do not travel much. Feel free to message me for last minute bookings as well! My name is Randi and I moved here from Tucson, Arizona where I worked as a Vet/Shelter Tech at my local county animal shelter. I currently have my Bachelors in Veterinary Science and I have experience with dogs/cats, rabbits and some other exotics (I worked at PetSmart for a short period of time in the animal care unit). I am comfortable and used to administering medications and preparing any type of specific or unique diet for your furry baby! ***Dogs must be good around small dogs and must be kennel trained if they are unable to be left alone without issue. Please disclose any information that would be needed in order for me to see if I would be a good fit for them. *** I have experience with fractious dogs and cats as the shelter world is full of them, and can also administer medications. I will take however long is necessary to make sure your fur kids are comfortable around me and are well taken care of. I had such a great experience with Randi! She was kind, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Kane with her. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay.. she sent frequent updates, pictures! It was evident Kane remained happy and well cared for! She was extremely thoughtful and reliable. I even extended my trip last minute and she was super accommodating! I will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, educated sitter!

Schedule
I am pretty flexible with accommodations for both boarding and check ins and have open availability for the most part. I am typically home but may need to run errands every now and then and leave the house. Your fur kids will rarely be left alone but if I do need to leave for a short period of time they will be crated for safety and security.

I have a fenced in yard and also gates/kennels available inside my home if needed. I have small dogs who typically stay in their own room during boardings, but I do slow introductions to make sure everyone acclimates without issue. I also have a cat that can be confined to her own room as well if needed but is desensitized to dogs of all energy levels and sizes. If separation for anyone is needed I can easily accommodate that as long as they are not destructive when left unattended (i.e. if your dog gets overwhelmed easily or requires additional decompression time or you just prefer it).

A typical day
Typically my household is more laid back so calmer or lower energy dogs work best in my home. I can provide adequate exercise as long as they are not extremely high energy and every dog has however much time they need to decompress and become comfortable in my house (I don't push attention or overstimulate and let them open up on their own).
