ABOUT ME - first and foremost, I love and respect all animals (and nature) and am happiest and most fulfilled when caring for, learning about, and spending time with them. I have been a dog, cat and horse owner, as well as a supporter of and volunteer at Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. MY EXPERIENCE - recently I traveled through Western Europe, and spent considerable time house/pet sitting along the way, specifically, in Paris, Normandy, London, Oxford, Southampton, Worcester, and Kent. During that time, I cared for felines, as well as large and small dog breeds - a Newfoundland, Malinois, Briard, Labradors, Springer Spaniels, Border Terrier, Whippet, Lhasa Apso, Chihuahua, and Corgi, as well as llamas, goats and bunnies to name a few. Care included walks, feeding, grooming, playtime, and in some instances, administering oral medication. MY STRONG POINTS - animals in my care receive 110% of my attention while I am with them. I am committed to creating a safe environment for them while walking, playing or resting. I closely monitor each pet's food and water intake to ensure they remain in optimum health. I also have experience administering oral medications if needed. MY MOTTO - Wagging tails = happy hearts
