Who says only humans get vacations?
My first dogsitting gig was a more difficult one. My next door neighbors had two older terriers, one of whom was blind and diabetic. At ten years old, I was in charge of feeding them, letting them out, and giving the diabetic dog insulin shots. My neighbors were impressed with my steady hands and obvious love for dogs. Since then, I’ve walked and sat for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. But what really sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and my desire for them to have a great time with their auntie Ramya! Having a dog is the highlight of my week and I set aside time to take them on long walls, train them in new tricks, and play endless games of catch. Who says that only humans get vacations?? I have experience with oral and injectable medications, and have taken care of senior and disabled dogs as well.

Ramya made me feel at ease that my dog was being very well taken care of while I was traveling. My dog got her own vacation too. She is dependable and sensitive to dogs’ needs. She made a noticeable effort to see that my dog was comfortable and settled in an unfamiliar setting. I would certainly look to book with Ramya again in the future.
Ramya was an absolute amazing sitter and really an outright caretaker for Camilla. Seeing how happy she was with Ramya in the pics almost made me worry she might not be happy to see us again! But of course she went nuts as usual. Dogs!

I’m currently unemployed, after three years in the Biden Administration. So I have lots of time to walk, train, and play with your furry friends!

I have a big apartment in a newer building on 14th St in NW DC. The building has elevators, a roof, and a park nearby!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, wearing them out at the dog park, and giving them lots of treats! I also like to spend time training dogs to do new tricks!
