Compassionate Sitter
Animals have been a passion of mine since I was a young child. I enjoy when I can interact with cats, dogs, and when a pet's natural personality comes out. Because I currently do not own any pets personally, I am honored to be able to watch your fur babies. I am trustworthy, dedicated, and happy to take your requests. I have references from members in the local community that can assure you of my genuine nature and ability to meet household and pet requests professionally. Despite being new to Rover, I am not new to pet sitting or housesitting. In my spare time, you can find me volunteering in the community projects that impact important causes, such as youth development and coordinating help for the homeless. Because I currently do freelancing, my schedule can be more open. I can usually accommodate routines similar to homeowners. I'm happy to have a conversation to make sure it is a mutual fit. I would only pet sit in a client's home because I live in an apartment that does not allow pets. I am seeking requests that desire a house sitter, walker, and drop-in requests.

Supremely disappointed would be an understatement of our experience with Ramone. We booked him to come house/dog sit while we were away for a week. Our dogs are house trained and never have accidents unless left alone for 9+ hours. There were multiple areas of dried urine when we got home, at least one of which left marks in the hardwood floors, and we have mopped it more than 5 times and are hopeful we MIGHT have finally gotten rid of the smell. There was also a large scratch in one of our back doors, which we assume was from the dogs trying to get outside to go to the bathroom rather than going in the house. We have great neighbors - one of which said the dogs were left alone outside in the dark for over 2 hours, and two others which have a key noticed he had not been here in a long period of time so they had to come let them out and even fed them once. And when one came she said the temperature was set to 81 degrees, when it is usually set at 69, which was certainly uncomfortable for the dogs. In addition, we let him use our cookware to eat since he was staying here, and we found multiple pans that were dirty even though they were put away. To add to it, we have a camera in our living room which we use to check in on the dogs while we are away. He decided to turn the camera around, then we tried turning it back as far as possible to see them, at which point he unplugged the camera. Also, with a guest room and full bathroom for him, he decided it was necessary to use our master bathroom, evidenced by a comb that was left in there. None of this is what you want to hear and come home to after paying someone $500 to do an incredibly easy job. We have used Rover several times in the past without an issue.
Ramone was wonderful! We were in a bind and he really saved the day. We came home to two very happy pups. We will definitely be using Ramone in the future!
Ramone is an excellent pet sitter and house sitter who truly love animals - he is excellent with my dog. I am a local dog trainer - I'm happy to refer my any pet sitting clients to Ramone because he does what he says he will do. Highly recommend.
