Each visit is customized for your specific needs and may include wellness checks, walks, playtimes in your securely fenced yard, feeding, giving oral or topical medications, transportation to vet/groomer/daycare, and training on basic manners/obedience commands and behavioral instruction such as kennel training and housebreaking. It is also essential to me to be very attentive, detail-oriented, and able to handle any unexpected situations which may arise.

Therefore I require an initial consultation provided at no cost for new clients to review your pet’s behavioral and medical history. I’d love to know anything about your pet’s schedule, environment, likes, and dislikes that help me give him/her the very best of care.
A typical day
All activities are designed to suit your pet’s physical and emotional needs, personality, energy level, level of training, age, and medical needs. I am also experienced with senior and special needs pets. In addition, I am happy to help with household tasks including cleaning inside and outside dog areas, bringing in mail/packages, running trash can/recycables up or down to curb, watering plants, etc.

Pet care experience
I earned a bachelors degree at the University of Georgia and co-founded and served as the Lead Trainer at a local nonprofit, which placed assistance dogs at no cost for children and adults with physical disabilities and other special needs. Over the past 20 years, I have raised 30 service, therapy, and companion dogs from puppies to working team certification and performed thousands of hours of animal-assisted therapy work in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and schools. I also have 5 years of animal care experience in kennels as well as 30 years of experience working with families in their homes to provide care, exercise, and behavioral instruction.
