2 Dog Lovers! Happy home ❤️
2 for the price of 1! We are a couple who love dogs. We have had our own dogs previously and are very excited to look after and care for your dog when you need it. Great 1 level home with easy step out into the garden. Local park only 200 meters away as well as the beach a ten minute drive. Looked after various breeds and sizes in the past including miniature schnauzers, soft coated wheaten terriers, chocolate labradors, springer spaniels and staffys to name a few. We have also looked after dogs in their old age with various medical issues and administered medication as needed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our dog. Rakesh is kind, helpful and genuinely loves dogs as if they were his own. We felt completely confident knowing our dog was in such caring and capable hands. We would happily recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet.
I have a beautiful 16year old wheaten terrier that is my soul mate. She is such a wonderful companion and very precious to me. Therefore I am extremely careful when having her looked after whilst I am away. Rakesh has cared for her on a number of occasions. He is absolutely great with her and they love their times together. Rakesh understands when she feels like a longer walk and when she just wants a quick wee and little sniff time. He manages her medications and food requirements with ease and the two of them have a close bond now meaning I never have to worry about leaving her with him. She has free access to the sofa and bedroom so likes to stroll about finding her own little place to snooze. I would highly recommend Rakesh for dog sitting / home boarding / walks and general doggy fun and care.
Rakesh was wonderful with my fur baby. I could tell she always loved seeing him and hanging out with him! And I think the feeling was mutual on Rakesh’s part too 😁Sadly we lost her recently but I wouldn't hesitate asking Rakesh to look after the next dog I have.
My Aunty had to go into hospital and Rakesh was kind enough to look after her very energetic mongrel Lucy. Rakesh and Lucy got on well together and by all accounts had a great fortnight together . Rakesh is a natural around dogs , he loves them .
Rakesh & Gillian are perfect hosts for dog boarding, we left our dog Cassy with them for a week and she was well looked after. We were sent updates and photos and it gave us peace of mind. Would highly recommend and will be using them again.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Rakesh to take great care of your pooch. He and his partner have looked after our Lucy, a Jack Russel, a number of times and know for sure she’s been loved and very well cared for whilst we’ve been on vacations

Schedule
My partner Gillian and I both have work from home days, we are available fully on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, some Fridays and our weekends are free. We do not have any children. Our offices are a 5 minute drive from home so we can get back to the house on office days very quickly for toilet breaks, feeding time etc. On weekends we are active but also like our rest time so are very flexible to accommodate your dog. Gill loves to paint animals too so if you would like a portrait painting of your loved one then just ask!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced garden with a lot of room for running around, our property is on one level so no stairs to worry about. There is also a park approximately 200 meters away on our road for walks and exercise. No pets currently so our home will be solely for your pet and all attention will be on them. I hope this gives you a good idea of how your dog will be looked after. If you have any questions then please message us and we will be happy to give you any information you need.
A typical day
Walks and runs in the park on our road if that’s what your dog loves to do. If not we have a private fenced garden to do just the same. We have dog toys and balls etc here but please feel free to bring anything that will make your loved one feel more at home. Dogs allowed on the sofas and beds in this house, we hope that will not be a problem for you but if it is then please let us know. Plus lots of cuddles!
