After moving to San Diego, I adopted Sammy, my energetic Great Dane mix, from the San Diego Humane Society. When I brought him home, he had no prior training or socialization, so I immediately enrolled him in behavioral training. With patience, consistency, and a lot of love, I helped him progress to advanced training within six months. Through this experience, I’ve developed strong skills in handling dogs of all sizes, from playful puppies to large breeds with high energy levels. A typical day
indoor games like "find it" where I hide a toy or treat somewhere in the home. This provides engagement, use of their nose and critical thinking which all serve to provide enrichment and fun. I have balls of varying sizes also to throw around, either inside or outside.
