Cozy Cottage for Pets on Vacation
I have over 20 years of experience caring for two golden retrievers and a couple of cats. Earlier this year I lost Nemo, our dog to cancer and have been looking to fill that huge void by hosting pets when the owners are out of town for whatever reason. I have experience with keeping the pets happy and active and have never left them for long periods by themselves. I have had both dogs come home as a puppy and grow into old age and so I have experience with pet care appropriate for the age. I have similar experience with a cat as well, as I had one till last year. When you leave your pets with me, you can rest assured that they are well taken care of in my cozy little home with private yard from across a large reservation.

Thank you for watching Rose while we were away. You made her very comfortable (although she's a homebody) in your quiet home.
We are incredibly thankful to Rajan for boarding our dog, Loki, for a little over two weeks. Loki was so well cared for and looked genuinely happy throughout her stay. She loved getting to play with other pups, which made the experience even better for her. Rajan is clearly an animal lover and treated Loki as if she were his own. We also really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We’re very grateful for the care and attention Rajan provided and would highly recommend him.

I am not working and in school and have flexible schedules. I can spend good part of my day around pets. I make short trips for errands during the week and generally go on trips lasting less than 5-6 hours during the weekend. Most days I am up before 6 am and used to let out the dog as the day began.

I am quite flexible about pet behavior inside the house as to noise and running around! I have a couple of furniture which dogs and cats use freely and do not have a kennel. I also used to have a dog bed in the bedroom and left it to our dog to decide where to sleep overnight. I have a fenced yard with mature trees and lots of shade which is a great place to hang out for your pet. I also live across from a huge reservation with several trails where we could take dogs for walks if possible.

I have pet toys for squeaks and treat dispensing. I spend time in the yard as needed, I would throw the ball for the dog to fetch and have ample space and elevations in the yard for agility games. I also do video recording (without the iphone) and editing as a hobby and may be able to provide interesting clips of your pet at extra cost.
