I want to know what your routine with them looks like. When do you get up with them? Feed them? Do you play with them inside or out? Where is their favorite spot in the house? Where do they go when they’re scared or uncomfortable? What special support do they need to feel comfortable and happy? I want to make sure that all of your pet’s daily and weekly needs are being met while respecting who they are and how they handle situations.
A typical day
I love playing with pets. Its so fun to see their personality come out with fetch, tug, and chase. I will meet your pet wherever they’re at. If your pet is active, I am happy to take them on walks or play with them with their toys. If you’re working on training, then let me know what commands I can work on with them while you’re away. If your pet loves naps, Ill bring my kindle or homework and we can chill.

Pet care experience
I have lived in a pet-loving household my entire life. Cats, dogs, and even bunnies were common in my home. For the past four years, I have helped care for pets for friends and family when life called them away from home. I know how important it is to feel confident that your fur-family are looked after and cared for when you are gone and how stressful it can be to spend a trip worrying about them. In your absence, I will take care of your pets as if they were my own, send daily updates, and take lots of pictures. I currently live at home in SW Columbia with my family and our four pets; Cricket a 9-year-old lab/pitbull mix, Delta a 1-year-old blue heeler mix, Pixel our 6-year-old tortie, and Wicket (my baby) a 5-year-old tabby. I am a Rock Bridge High School graduate and will start my college experience this fall as an online student. As an online student, I will have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to readily meet all of your fur-babes needs when they are in my care. I have experience with pets of all ages and stages of life, all sizes, mobility levels, and special needs, and am comfortable administering medication as needed.

Raine took great care of our pup, did several check-ins over the day and communicated well.
Raine has petsit for us several times in the past 3 years. Raine has watched our 4 pets while we were away for short weekends and even took care of them last summer while we were away for a 10+ day trip abroad. In these three years, Raine has expertly handled the needs of our elderly dog who passed away last spring and our newest puppy who joined our crew last fall. For our elderly dog, Raine made sure to administer medications to the schedule we provided and was confident and patient while using an assistive harness to take the pup outside for bathroom breaks. With our puppy he happily worked on training and made sure to play with and excersized him to help tucker him out. We so appreciate Raine's attention do the needs of each of the pets in the home and his effective communication while we are away.
I have known Raine for several years and believe him to be a caring and responsible young man. He has looked after my elderly beagle and young cat for multiple days on separate occasions- easily accommodating visits to keep them on their regular feeding and outside time schedule. Raine lives in a multiple pet household, lives local to Columbia, able to also water plants indoors and feed the turtle! Highly recommend!
