*Note - I only board cats in home (one cat family at a time) - no dogs in-home boarding. Happily will do drop-in visits for kitties in their home! Will do drop-ins for pups locally in Cane Bay* Grew up with dogs, have had five cats (lifetime)! Would in-house sit (7 cats & 2 dogs!) for a veterinarian. I love being around pets! Dogs - I have worked with puppies and seniors + have done a ten week training course with our current dog, Harper. Cats - I have had them from all walks of life, kittens to one senior (and have given medical treatments to).

my cats had a great time with Raina. She took really good care of them. Even gave them a nightime treat 🥰. I received a lot of updates from her which made me feel really good about leaving them with her. I trust her with my cats. She knows a lot about cats in general and how to welcome them into a new environment. Currently I work from home and own my own business so my schedule is very flexible! My husband also loves animals for additional love and play with your pets.

Safety, trust & environment
For cat boarding, we have one designated room dedicated to you kitties and only board one families cat(s) at a time. The room is setup with lots of stimulations for cats: cat trees, scratching pads, soft beds, interactive games and toys. Water and litter is changed daily - and feeding schedule to your specifics. We have Feliway wall plugs so that there is a calm essence in their room to help with any daily stress they may have from being away from home. I personally will go in the room three to five times a day and spend time playing with them or cuddling (if they want to!).
Pets
A typical day
I love to give cats that board with us plenty of visual and toy/play stimulation - if they need it! Feather toys, jingly balls and stuffies, chewies and bunny kickers. I also have brain games - boxes with tiers and holes where they have to paw at to move treats around to get them out of the “maze.” If your cat is older or prefers a more chill environment - I will adjust the room for them. For drop in visits and overnights - I will consult with the parent first to learn what your animals like to do and when. All the above for cats. For dogs, tugs and flirt wands + chasing a ball or favorite toy + brain games like hiding treats in snuffles and interactive puzzles. Walks and outdoor time if weather is good! Our pup is double coated, so I completely understand that behavior if getting overheated. We keep Harper stimulated inside with playtime and brain games so that she gets plenty of exercise during the hot months!
